"We chose to stay in Wengwa, the least commercialized village, because we were driving there. The guesthouse owner was very kind and hospitable; he couldn't speak Mandarin clearly, but he kept making tea for us. The rooftop offered an unobstructed view of the sunset and sea of clouds—it was very comfortable. There was a small courtyard on the first floor where we could make tea and enjoy the breeze. It wasn't expensive, but it was so comfortable we didn't want to leave, and we stayed again the next day. You can walk to the village's viewing platform to watch the sunset, or you can watch it from the rooftop. The room was also very large and nice. The view from the window was great! 👍"
