I rent my little, lovingly furnished holiday home to all who like to enjoy the nature and the summer by the lake. The house is located in a well maintained holiday home park in the northern Hessian mountain country (Seepark Kirchheim).
Located directly above the small reservoir (100 m as the crow flies) there is plenty of space for hours together, a terrace for barbecues and chilling. On foot you are in 2 minutes on the lake, in 5 minutes on the beach or at the water ski or Wakeboard system.
An open fireplace for cozy hours in autumn or winter are waiting for you. Here you can relax after beautiful excursions and hikes. If you are in the mood for culture or shopping, you will also get your money's worth. In the nearby Bad Hersfeld, Fulda or Kassel, there is much to see.
Also a golf course is nearby (Kurhessischer Golfclub Niederaula). Passionate motorcyclists can look forward to winding roads and almost no traffic, in a very scenic area around Knüllgebirge, Ederbergland and Rhön.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit praktischen Zwischenebnen. Haus liegt -wie fast alle Ferienhäuser dort- am Hang mit Blick auf den See und dem gegenüber liegenden großen Wald, umrahmt von hohen Bäumen windgeschützt. Der Blick von der Terrasse aus ist unglaublich erholsam. Hier kann man sich sehr gut entspannen. Die dortige Luft ist hervorragend. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Ein Backofen existiert zwar nicht,, man kann aber wohl auch in der Mikrowelle (Geschirr dafür?) grillen. Wakeboarding ist fußläufig erreichbar. Dort gibt es einen Tretbootverleih und Trampolinspringen. Man sitzt dort sehr schön direkt am Wasser des Stausees und kann jegliche warme und kalte Getränke sowie einen Imbiss genießen (Unterführung gegenüber der Bushaltestelle nutzen). Das sog. Strandcafe gehört zum Ashram, ist wohl nicht öffentlich.Auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Sees (Fußweg von ca. 300 Meter ab dortigem Parkplatz) befindet sich eine schöne kleine Badewiese mit hohen Bäumen die Regen- und Sonnenschutz bieten, wenn man dies sucht. Am dortigen Seeufer ist ein kleine Sandbucht. Es geht sehr lange knöchel- und kniehoch ins Wasser hinein. Ideal für Kinder. Ausserdem gibt es dort eine Tischtennisplatte (Netz mitbringen) und eine Beachvolleyball-Anlage. Keine Restaurierung, kein WC.Sehr zu empfehlen,

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt,das Ferienhaus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet,mit allem was man braucht.Die Aussicht auf den See haben wir genossen.Der Badesee ist schön gelegen,super auch für die ganze Familie und Hund
Schöne Waldwege zum spazieren gehen. Den Ashram haben wir besucht,dort gibt es ein Cafe am See (veganer Kuchen)sehr schön.
Auch an der Wasserskianlage kann man sehr schön sitzen und den Wasserskifahrern zusehen.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus mit Charme
Wir reisten in Summe mit 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kindern (unter 3), wo jedes Kind im DG ein Zimmer erobern durfte ... Wobei die separaten Waschbecken pro Zimmer gold wert waren. Die Treppen haben sie nach Kurzem auch sicher bezwungen 😅
Ansonsten ist fast (ich glaube es fehlt lediglich ein Herd, was aber bei der Küche wahrscheinlich nicht realisierbar war) alles da was man braucht um eine gemütliche Zeit zu verbringen. Sauber Matratzen, sauber und hygienische Waschräume und alle technischen Geräte sind sauber und im guten Zustand. Diverse Gegenstände die Im Alltag von Nöten sind, finden man garantiert im Mehrzweckschrank im Flur.
Es gab nur eine kleine Sache, die wir etwas störend fanden bei Zwillingen, die im Nachbarzimmer lagen. Und zwar hat man sich fast so gehört als wäre keine Wand zwischen den Zimmern. Da dies nur in der Einschlafphase hinderlich war, war es verschmerzbar.
