I think the hotel was previously a Kempinski, some of the towels and robes had the logo.
The location next to the river is nice, if you can get a room facing that side.
The pool, jacuzzi and gym facilities are good.
There are 3 ATMs in the lobby, giving out USD and a Vodacom and clothes store.

Superb well well-equipped rooms, excellent service at the reception as well as the restaurants and a great well-equipped gym. I can highly recommend a stay in this property which is conveniently located in Gombe

Breakfast is delicious, the environment is good, the hotel is clean, and it is the favorite of fitness experts. There is a big gym on the first floor. The hotel staff is very professional and enthusiastic, and it is the most satisfactory hotel in Congo.

It was a stressful experience for me and my partner. It's been more than 15 years traveling to different countries for the first time after receiving confirmation to our booking. On arrival at the hotel late in the evening after a tiring journey it was discovered that our booking had been cancelled without notice. The hotel had this practice if there were too many guests and all the rooms were occupied. After much discussion and waiting we were seated in a deluxe room. The room was comfortable and the service related with it was ok. But in general the overall service is not up to a five star hotel. The hotel does not offer included transportation to and from the airport to its guests, guests must pay extra for it. Spa services like massage are missing. The pool water was not clean. The breakfast offer was poor of fruits.
