I think the hotel was previously a Kempinski, some of the towels and robes had the logo.
The location next to the river is nice, if you can get a room facing that side.
The pool, jacuzzi and gym facilities are good.
There are 3 ATMs in the lobby, giving out USD and a Vodacom and clothes store.

I first visited the Fleuve Congo Hotel in 2022 when I was in town to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. I got 5 rooms for family and friends who had flown in from various parts of the globe to celebrate mom. This hotel is a gem. From Sylvie in Reservations to the front desk staff who are trilingual English /French /Lingala... you can feel right at home. I reserved aging during my recent trip. I had business meetings over their delicious breakfast and enjoyed a walk along the Fleuve to keep up with my fitness goals. The hotel is safe and secure with limited access to non guests. The security guard even remembered me from my previous stay! I love it ther4 and highly recommend it. The view is getting worse because we see news constructions everywhere so the lateral view of the bedroom is for construction in every corner, the new bedrooms they put the beds in the back of river congo so nearly no view to the river, the restaurant in the swimmingpool became very bad since one year: the prices are crazy and the quality very poor. We asked shrimps salad and not sure it was fresh, the water in the swimmingpool was not clear and treated, the staff in the restaurant in the swimmingpool not kind and they tried three times to cheat on us with the bill and with the credit card machine trying to pick the money twice… so I dont recommend this hotel anymore because it is too expensive when you compare with the quality offered..
