Decided to give Whittington and cat a try for Sunday lunch , and have to say we was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Th drinks are reasonably priced and the food is good value for money and very filling. I had the roast lamb dinner and my partner had the steak and ale pie which was a massive wedge. The only thing that would of been nice as an option as a side dish is cauliflower cheese but can not fault it. Definitely recommend booking for a Sunday.

Great room with 4 poster bed, very clean and nice and warn for a cold December day. Staff very polite and the prices of the drinks in the bar, great value for money. Good location overlooking the marina. Parking available (free). Met the owners, very nice hospitable people. Met some of the regulars on our return from a meal, had a real good old sing song. Lovely night all round. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Came up to Hull for the Middle Child Panto and stayed here. Friendly staff and we stayed in the Emerald room with the 4 posted bed. Very comfy room, decent shower and well stocked with tea, coffee etc. Staff were great and we had the festive food here with family. 10/10 and would definitely recommend. Location is super for the town centre and pubs, bars and restaurants.
