Staff was fantastic and very welcoming.

Simon was great. Awesome hotel. I definitely love the fact that they had kitchens. And the happy hour was fantastic. Of course the breakfast was too.

This stay was acceptable, but it was not anything like I expect to see in a Marriott hotel. The positives I can point out were the AC kept the room nice and cold like we prefer, the bed was comfortable, the location was convenient to why we were staying, and the staff was nice, although I can't say anyone went above or beyond. The negatives included an unusable cook top due to multiple cracks in the glass, a bathroom door that wouldn't shut all the way, 2 towels for 3 people, scuffs on the walls and furniture, bubbled paint, and the paint on the wall in the living room was applied shoddy, AROUND the artwork, no shelf in the shower, a serious lack of dishes, no knife stronger than a butter knife to be able to cut chicken, the floor was sticky, with dried paint on it, and there was some type of soda ring or something on the desk. That doesn't include the stained carpet in the ridiculously hot hallway, or the seriously small parking lot, or the bubbled up flooring that didn't look like it was cleaned the entire weekend. This is our first time taking a chance on an Element hotel. I did not get the vibe that the staff really takes pride in the place honestly, because these were details that were overlooked when they shouldn't have been. For the price we paid it should have been better. We did bring some of these concerns to the attention of management and were offered a mere 5,000 points as a compensation measure which feels distasteful. We are prior Ambassadors so we have stayed in many Marriott branded hotels, most of them extended stay. This one leaves a lot to be desired and we will choose somewhere else the next time we are in this area. The staff should really consider taking more pride in the establishment by addressing these basic concerns not only for guest comforts, but to be in compliance with Marriott standards.

Great stay, fantastic accommodations, rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was outstanding. The staff was very professional and courteous. Only complaint was on the last night I had to see that no good Grandpa Joe from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” on my tv. If it wasn’t for that, I would have given it 5 stars.
