Excellent food in the restaurant with a good selection to choose from the menu, coupled with good service. The rooms are a little dated but still comfortable. This is a great location when travelling to Glasgow or the west coast for business or pleasure.

Very nice hotel and staff could not do enough for us would recommend to family and friend and would use this hotel again great rooms and bar and restaurant facilities for any needs rooms well equipped with iron and hairdryer and coffee and tea in the rooms

Visited in October 24. Staff very friendly on arrival and helped with a pass to charge my car. Quality of the room was great with plenty of bedding, towels and a coffee machine. . Good location and plenty of parking. Great hotel and stay. Will stop again!

Electrocuted and burnt by the old fashioned hairdryer in the hotel room. Burnt the skin on my left hand black. Not one electrical item showing pat testing. A staff member partially completed an Accident Form which mysteriously vanished the next morning. Manager was too busy to come to the check out desk and apologise. Repeated requests for copy of the Accident Form has been ignored. Hotel is currently under Council investigation. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Arrived here on a Wednesday night with no football on at the stadium next door. Large car park adjacent to hotel with a friendly welcome which was well received after a drive up from Nottingham. Modern, spacious and airy hotel which is a nice contrast to the well known chains. Room was great - bed especially comfortable - and good WiFi throughout. All the staff were friendly with prompt service. Good food in the restaurant throughout and always nice to see Carling available when north of the border. For those that drive a lot with early starts the next day, a ‘weak’ lager is my go to.

We stayed here last night while in town attending a work function. Our room wasn't quite ready when we got there but the ladies in reception hung my dress, hubby's kilt and kept our bags while we went to the bar for a drink. They then came to get us the minute our room was ready... Taxi was booked for us to get to the function, no issues at all. We queried charging points for hubby's electric car.....the ladies didn't know but again had a response for us within 10 mins and we were fully charged this morning. The same lady was on reception after a fantastic breakfast as we checked out, remembered we had been out the night before and said we had looked amazing and hoped we had had an amazing night!!! Great staff all throughout but the front of house staff are amazing!!!!!

Only thing letting this hotel down is the squeaky floorboards , excellent size room and comfy beds ,had food in the restaurant on both nights of our stay , was absolutely lovely and good value for money , staff friendly and very efficient ,woukx be good to have a fridge in the room

A comfortable 4 star hotel, good size room and comfortable bed. Lacing a fridge in the room. Restaurant provides a choice of meals for everybody's taste. Breakfast was well cooked and a fair choice. Would have preferred a bigger selection of fresh fruit . Will return when in the area.
