This hotel is a great choice for a short stay in Ayrshire. It feels very modern and clean while the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. It did get a little busy during the morning as the coffee shop located by reception is very popular with the locals for a coffee and cake. The car park is excellent and has the additional bonus of having two EV charging points on the premises. Overall excellent value for money and I would recommend it.

A total surprise on the Blues Restaurant menu. A sublime starter of North Atlantic prawns on a varied salad base with chilli flakes giving a very unusual but excellent outcome. Presentation was first rate. Followed by the mains of breast of chicken with black pudding. Onions with gravy and the combination of flavours was truly outstanding. Portion sizing was spot on and again presentation was faultless. Such an amazing culinary experience in an hotel in the shadow of a football stadium! Top marks to the chef and the serving personnel. Paired with a white ,yes white , Cotes du Rhone from their wine list. A very memorable meal indeed. First rate.

Stayed for one night and it was great. Good size room for 2 adults and a child. Amazing va,use for money and great location, just where we needed to be. The dinner at Blues restaurant was outstanding and the kids meal was the best value, good size portions and amazing choice. Breakfast was included and again was fantastic. Highly recommend

In all honesty I wasn’t happy with my experience. The breakfast had very small portions for the price and the quality was poor also one of their waitresses who served me had no manners and came across rude. The room I stayed in was freezing and there was no soap available in the bathroom which had black stains and black marks in the sealant in the bath. I tried to switch on the radiator but I gave up as I had difficulty trying to work it. I couldn’t figure out how to work the coffee machine either, I couldn’t have any of the milk that was in the room anyway as I can’t drink cows milk due to my lactose intolerance. Overall I think the price to stay was very expensive for what you got and that was for room only which cost me £221 for 2 nights so I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel but doesn't charge the Earth. TONS of free parking, gorgeous restaurant, neat and clean as a pin. Paige on the front desk was just lovely, and service was perfect. The room itself was HUGE. Bathroom cleaner than any hospital I've ever been in. Sheets and duvet snowy white and spotless. Nicely decorated, (I loved the beautiful wooden thistle over the bed) and plenty of space for luggage. TV bigger than mine at home and just generally spotless with great service.

We had a beautiful spotlessly clean room at the hotel. Excellent lighting in the bedroom which you don't always find. A lovely large bathroom with a bath and shower over the bath. We had dinner at the hotel which was first class. Breakfast was excellent too. On the second morning it was a buffet breakfast, but we both wanted poached eggs. We asked for them and there was no problem with the request. We would both thoroughly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed.

Good points - bed was comfy, staff where nice and the buffet breakfast in the morning was good. There's free water stations in lobby which was really handy too. Bad points - football game was on and they don't reserve parking for guests so we had to park 20 minute walk from hotel with our luggage. They advised to come back after 5pm when fans had cleared the car park. Not ideal when you've already travelled and arrived at check in time of 3pm. You can hear every noise in surrounding area and rooms. If you sleep on bottom floor be prepared to hear every footstep from rooms above due to creaking floorboards as well as people walking through corridors. We where woken several times during the night with this. Bathroom was not clean. Shower area had mould and just general dirt and grime round the sealant and shower screen. This is what would put me off staying here again as this was clearly visable so god knows what else the cleaners are missing or not doing.
