Nimbo Fork Lodge

This was as blissful as it looks. Couldn't fault a thing. We enjoyed the accommodation, walks and food from Three Blue Ducks was amazing! We booked the winter package & thought it was great value for money! Will be back again for some more R&R!

The accommodation and staff at Reception and Bar were a 10 however the Restaurant was a massive disappointment. I had the Pumpkin risotto and there was no pumpkin in it nor flavour, I asked for chilli and didn't get any, we had to get up and get our own salt and pepper, the chips we ordered as a side were french fries and they were not good. The wine was average also. I recommend for a place like that Bonic's wine (it's a Riverina winery) as it's organic and no added sulfates. My friend who was with me ordered a fish and it wasn't overly great either. Our pesto entrée was the better dish out of what we ordered. The Accommodation is amazing and worth every cent. I highly recommending updated the photos on website of the rooms if they have been renovated. We will be back- but will bring a toaster and a microwave so we can eat what we bring. The rooms have a good size fridge.

This was the most amazing little gem in the middle of no where!! The drive on the way up to the Nimbo Fork Lodge set the scene with rolling mountains, cows in the side of the road, fresh county air, the flowing river running through the property! When we arrived it got better! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the room was large, very comfortable and fitted the country feel! To top it off the Three Blue Ducks restaurant was to die for! Sitting in front of the fire, my partner and I enjoyed the most amazing meal! Thank you for a memorable stay! We will definitely be back!!

I have dined at the Three Blue Ducks on many occasions but it was only recently that I had the opportunity to stay at Nimbo Lodge (in the rooms above the restaurant). The accommodation is excellent – it is very comfortable with all the amenities I needed including being well-heated in the current winter climate. It was a very nice touch that the heating was on when we arrived making the room cosy and ready for a quick change for drinks and dinner. Staying in the rooms above the restaurant at this time of year was a clear preference for my group of travellers. I thoroughly enjoyed the escape for a few days and wholeheartedly recommend staying here. During the warmer months, the scenic views and walking trails no doubt add much to the enjoyment of the area. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. I always thought it was very good but more recently it has been really on a roll. Chef Frankie, the Italian born chef, has been offering new and exciting food options including a newly introduced monthly Italian menu on the last Saturday of the month. The wine menu is reasonably priced and provides great accompaniment to the delicious food choices. The restaurant manager, Lucy, and her team provide professional, attentive and friendly service making the whole experience first rate. Rachel and the reception team were similarly helpful, warm and friendly. For those seeking a short get away from within the region (Canberra etc.) it’s a worthy consideration and a must to experience. Those passing through between Sydney and Melbourne should also consider it a must for a stopover.

The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They greeted us with a tour and even helped us with our luggage to our room. The property is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are very spacious, we walked into a heated room (which was perfect for the weather outside). Very comfortable beds. Bathroom was very clean with a good layout and bonus with the heated towel rack. Could not fault this property and will gladly stay again on our travels. Thankyou for a great stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful time over two nights. The rooms and views were beautiful, bar and restaurant excellent, the whole area so peaceful. What really stood out however was the amazing service from all of the team. We felt so well looked after, and literally every staff member we had contact with went above and beyond to make us feel special. Highly recommend a visit. We can’t wait to return at some point in the future.
