Premier Inn Kidderminster

A lovely old building converted into a PI and Debenhams. Situated on a retail park featuring Next, M&S, Matalan, Clarks and five minutes walk from Kidderminster town centre. Within 5 minutes walk are a Frankie & Benny's, McDonald's and a Gregg's if you don't fancy a PI breakfast. Friendly staff. Air conditioned room. Lovely big shower. It's just a shame that PI cannot follow its own policy of not changing towels if you hang them up - you try to do your environmental bit but get foiled by housekeeping!

Visiting family and have used this hotel on quite a few occasions. As usual the rooms are great, bed fantastic, lovely staff and air conditioning, which was just what was required in the recent weeks. Premier Inns just get it right, spotless rooms with a great layout. I cannot comment on the evening meals, but breakfast is great with a good choice for everyone. The hotel would get 5/5 if they would just sort out the tortoise lift, which has been a problem for quite some time

The hotel is situated in a lovely historic building. Although renovated on the inside, the exterior is very reminiscent of what the original factory building would have looked like which I think is a great style choice which retains the historic culture of the town. This is the first hotel that I've been to which has a "back-to-front" layout where the reception is on the top floor instead of the ground floor which you'd normally expect. This didn't bother me because the more flights of stairs I get to climb per day, the better! The rooms are like any other Premier Inn. Very content with the quality and the cleanliness. The layout of the restaurant was top-notch for any Premier Inn I have been to. I really liked the design and the decor used. It felt very comfortable and homely. Definitely helped to make a great start to the morning! Overall, l'd highly recommend this as a place to stay in Kidderminster.

Great hotel - best Premier Inn we’ve stayed in. And Tracy who cooked us breakfast was amazing! Bacon sandwich was great! And the room was great. With shops really close for morning browsing. Had a great stay during half term. Will be back. Thank you!

I have MS, FND, and many physical health problems. I arrived at hotel to find all lifts were broken and I had to walk up 8 flights of stairs to get to reception. It almost killed me, I nearly passed out. Once I was located a room, I got there only for the room not be cleaned or be ready, the maids were in shock and wasn’t happy that receptionist had given me this room when wasn’t ready. I then had to wait 20 mins standing up hurting waiting for room to be ready. I’ve stayed in hundreds premier inns, this is worst ever! I demand a refund.

Breakfast not worth the money. Stale bread on both mornings and no fruit juice one morning. Restaurant area extremely quiet, I guess there is a reason for that. The room was OK and the staff were all very helpful but would probably stay somewhere else next time.
