"We had so much fun with our stay here at Mercure Hotel Khamis branch. From the reception as we check-in, the guy is well polite and accommodating as we interrogate questions some functionalities of the hotel and whereabouts like swimming pool hours rules etc. We had also enjoy the buffet sections where foods are delicately prepared by the staffs namely Ms. Eva and Ms. Cyrene which we had fun interacting with. "My stay at the hotel was below expectations considering its price. The room cleaning policy is inflexible; cleaning is limited to only two times a day (morning and evening), and you must call ahead to schedule a cleaning appointment. There is only one elevator serving guests, and the waiting time is very long for a hotel of this size. The room key also frequently needs to be reactivated. The suite lighting is poor and impractical; there are many light switches, but only a few work, making them confusing to use. The bathrooms also suffer from poor drainage, with water pooling on the floors and taking a long time to dry. The quality of the wooden (parquet) flooring is mediocre, and the furniture is old, worn, and in need of renovation. When I requested a crib for an infant, the hotel stated that it was unavailable, while an extra bed was available for an additional 100 riyals per night. Finally, I find the price high compared to the level of services and facilities. A two-bedroom suite with a living room and bathroom costs 650 riyals per night, and the price increases with renovations, which is not commensurate with the quality of the accommodation provided."
