Hyatt Place Keystone / Dillon

The hotel is very close to the Keystone Ski resort and that is why we chose this hotel. But the room was very small. With all our ski gears (for 4 people), it was hard to walk around the beds. We will choose another facility that is in Dillon or Silverthorne next time, which is about 10 minute drive for a bigger room.

I stay at the Hyatt Place Keystone / Dillon every year for business, and overall, consider it a decent hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I have never experienced any issues with their service. However, the hotel is showing its age, evident in the overall wear and tear on the furniture, carpet, bathroom floors, and fixtures. The bedside lights were missing lampshades, and the showerhead was clogged, spraying unevenly and with inadequate pressure. Breakfast was average and offered the standard fare found at most hotels of similar price. That said, if you're looking for comfortable lodging without luxury or frills, then the HP Keystone will meet your needs.

I cannot believe Hyatt allows their brand to be associated with this hotel. First, there is not nearly enough parking. The lot was full, and the only solution is to park across the highway - not ideal when you arrive late and it is very dark. The hotel itself is really beat up - dents, missing paint, broken lights all over. My room had a nice view, but the AC did not work and it was terribly hot. It took 3 calls to maintenance with no response before I had to request moving rooms. Staff was unfriendly and not helpful. "Restaurant" did not appear to be staffed or open for the whole of my stay.

The location is convenient,hotel facing mountain, back to a lovely pond and a trail you can wander around.The stuff is nice,the cleanliness of the lift and in the breakfast room can be improved, also the selection of the food.
