This was a nice surprise. The location was awesome and accessible to everything that I did over the few days. I was there the hammocks the beach, the pool, the paddle boards, kayaks everything made it well worth staying. The staff were friendly.. parking was abundant. And even though it was on route one, it was set off the road and quiet.

Decent for Key Largo. Expect no housekeeping unless you stay 5+ days. Rooms are not soundproof so you'll hear noise. Front desk team was nice even though I had to ask to move rooms. Original room was next to the office and you could hear all the desk conversations. Second room much better and less noise though you still hear doors opening and closing. Good enough for a short stay but if you need absolute quiet to sleep this place is not for you.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever checked in to! I only say checked in to because after inspecting the room, there was no way we were staying! We let the front desk know and they refused to give us clean sheets saying “You should have requested clean sheets at check in.” That tells me they don’t put clean sheets on the bed after someone checks out! There were staines all over the bed and the curtains. The AC unit had visible mold. Underneath the mattress there was so much grime, dead bugs, and other people’s hair. The walls and floors were gross. The pillows were gross with stains on the pillow itself and the pillow cases. Absolutely filthy! The front desk ladies were also rude and unprofessional. Do not stay here!

Stayed here 21/06 - 22/06 2025 A hotel on the way down to Key West that is originally a motel. Located right next to the road down to Key West. Stayed in the family suite. The hotel is suitable for a couple of nights when passing through. Just check that the pool is open if you want to swim in the pool. Pros: Located by the sea. Pool. Small kitchen. Large refrigerator. Free parking. Cons: Pool closed without information about this when booking a room. Worn out room and area. Loud noise from the road when you sit at the front. Beds 3 (see below *). Value for money 4 (see below **). *(Sinks through 0 - Average 5 - lies on top of the mattress 10) **(Throws money down the drain 0 - Break Even 5 - Highest profit 10)

Unpretentious and yet -- a place filled with the wonders of nature, opportunities to both explore and relax -- and a very comfortable room (ours was a studio). The inn was fully booked and yet it felt like we almost had it to ourselves. Walk out to the water's edge and enjoy from the dock, a chair or hammock, even a kayak or peddle boat (check out from office, at no additional charge)! Wade into the water at a little beach or explore a big grassy area (& observe iguanas), and there's even a brick BBQ available for use. There's even a nice temperature-controlled swimming pool to enjoy.

We knew going in that this was a Florida owned motel. I have stayed at my fair share over the years. This is no thrills but I did expect at least a clean room. There were hairs everywhere, the toilet handle was broken, the sink would back up and there was an infestation of mosquitoes in the room. Most of the seating by the dock to see the sunset were broken. There is also an overwhelming cleaning smell in the room. You do need to sign in and put the pool towels. If not returned, there is a $20 charge for each one. Some positives. There was AC in the room that you can control and worked well. There was a ceiling fan. The small fridge also had a dedicated freezer and there was a microwave. There was also a hose right by the pool that we used to hose down our scuba equipment.
