Decent for Key Largo. Expect no housekeeping unless you stay 5+ days. Rooms are not soundproof so you'll hear noise. Front desk team was nice even though I had to ask to move rooms. Original room was next to the office and you could hear all the desk conversations. Second room much better and less noise though you still hear doors opening and closing. Good enough for a short stay but if you need absolute quiet to sleep this place is not for you.

This was a nice surprise. The location was awesome and accessible to everything that I did over the few days. I was there the hammocks the beach, the pool, the paddle boards, kayaks everything made it well worth staying. The staff were friendly.. parking was abundant. And even though it was on route one, it was set off the road and quiet.

My wife and I were just here and we loved it!! I stayed in the "Seafarer Resort and Beach" back in 2022 and it had bugs every where inside(EW) and for the price definitely not worth it. But this time going with Rock Reef the ladies in the front were so happy and helpful, the room was always very clean, and the whole property looked so peaceful/quiet and beautiful. If we come back again to the Key's this is where we would stay! Kayaks, little beach, hammocks and more it was so much fun.

We knew going in that this was a Florida owned motel. I have stayed at my fair share over the years. This is no thrills but I did expect at least a clean room. There were hairs everywhere, the toilet handle was broken, the sink would back up and there was an infestation of mosquitoes in the room. Most of the seating by the dock to see the sunset were broken. There is also an overwhelming cleaning smell in the room. You do need to sign in and put the pool towels. If not returned, there is a $20 charge for each one. Some positives. There was AC in the room that you can control and worked well. There was a ceiling fan. The small fridge also had a dedicated freezer and there was a microwave. There was also a hose right by the pool that we used to hose down our scuba equipment.

We stayed in the waterfront cottage - it was a wonderful getaway. Having morning coffee on our front porch overlooking the bay was quiet & peaceful with the local birds "singing" to us as an added bonus. We loved swimming at the private beach area and taking the kayaks out into the bay - no wake/waves make both of these very relaxing. Sunset was fantastic!
They could have used more beach lounge chairs (or at least more that weren't broken) but everything else was great!
