Amoray Dive Resort

Staff was outstanding and the rooms are very nice. The dive staff with Captain Gio and Maxx made the snorkeling tours awesome

This has nothing to do with the dive center. The hotel apparently books weekend groups who stay at the resort Friday through Sunday. This is what happened during our stay. A bunch of them came down from Miami and stayed drunk in the pool until the sun came up. This was bad for us as our room was next to the pool making sleep impossible. We warned the office earlier about their behavior, but they did nothing. I find this unacceptable at any resort and will not be returning any time soon, if ever.

Didn’t stay at the resort but got to go out on the boat. After the hurricane the visibility was bad but the boat crew made it so fun! They had snacks and were helpful with helping us in and out of the water when the current was strong Captain Travis had me cracking up and could have been the clone of my brother. Thanks for the fun you guys!

Our second stay with them this year and we were happy to go back. Had the same room. Comfortable room with great A/C, full kitchen. WiFi is a bit limited, but that's true throughout Key Largo. Office staff is always friendly. All the staff is friendly. You set out the linens you need replaced and it's done quickly. Very convenient system. Amoray is close to everything. Excellent dive crew. Although their boat was out for updates, they made arrangements for me to dive with other operators. I knew this when booking the trip. They worked with me to arrange the dives I wanted with the operators I preferred. The "boarding pass" system used by many of the KL operators is very efficient. I added a local guide for the trips (I've done KL several times, but like the local knowledge since they dive daily) and they provided Amoray staff. Tess, Capt. G, and Kalen were great dive buddies and guides. Each pointed out plenty of things I would have missed and made the dives much better. Look forward to staying at Amoray again and diving with them. Highly recommended.

The place is ok. Nothing thrilling but the service is good. You can team they have done some renovations, but the contractor did a lot of shotty work in my option. Paint running away from places it should be, non clean lines, baseboards that don’t run from one wall to the other with gaps and you can see through the paint. Baseboard paint running onto floor. Mold/rot visible. Shower tiles not square and missing grout between tiles. They give you bars of soap,,, but to my surprise, NO SOAP DISH in shower to put the soap,,, lol. Unreal.. When requested the staff cleans the rooms well. Very attentive. For just diving, it’s ok and suits the bill at a minimum. Has gods AC units. Glad rooms have microwaves and a small refer. The small things make the room we stayed in miss the mark. This review has nothing to do with the actual dive center operations. Only the adjoined accommodations that is owned and operated by a separate entity.

Amoray Resort is a fantastic place to stay and to dive. Just perfect for our family of 5 with 2 teenagers. The accommodation was really clean, well appointed and fresh towels on demand. A lovely swimming pool and deck area. Really helpful and friendly staff. And just a great vibe and atmosphere - would highly recommend this place to anyone who dives or anyone who wants a cool and relaxing place to stay. It’s friendly and unpretentious - my idea of a great holiday. Thanks Amoray, we will be back.

Big thank you to Amoray Dive Center and Resort. Special call out to Captain Aaron, Guide Bri (who absolutely was a gem) and Instructor Max. I enjoyed 4 amazing rec dives that were beautiful. They make everything fun. Max helped me get one adventure dive closer to my AOW with one heck of a memorable ending. He's amazing and highly recommended. The property and room is nice. Everything a diver needs is right there at the resort. There are full service dive shops close by as well. This said, it's a dive resort not a luxury Marriott. If you want breakfast and concierge, go to Sandals. I'll be back for sure. You should too!

Had a great refresher dive lesson and a couple of good days of diving. Staff and crew are friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we had a safe time diving. We got to see the Christ statue actually twice to help accommodate other guests which was fine. There are other things to see around the reef. We saw Giant Eagle Ray barracuda lobster and a fair number of fishes. The room was very nice we stayed in a superior king suite and it was fine. We also used their free kayak and stand up paddle board for a nice little trip up the bay. The sunsets are nice from your doc and it worked out great. Tess was a great teacher for our refresher and guide and the next day Bree did a great job as well. Kevin, and Aaron rounded out captains for two days and Gabe and Tess did a fine job as first mate. It was a nice trip.

Amoray dive resort was THE BEST! Definitely recommend if you’re planning to dive and stay. We stayed in the superior king suite, and definitely feel that the upgrade to the full kitchen was worth it. We came to complete my daughter’s open water certification (10th birthday gift) and Gabe was awesome with her. Definitely will request Gabe as a dive guide when we go next! In addition, the entire staff and boat crew are amazing. We had Captain G, Grace, Max, and Captain Kevin. All amazing people! Definitely will be returning in the future for more dives!
