The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast, but there’s nothing wrong with that as long as it’s advertised as such. A warning for less able clients - all the rooms are on the 1st / 2nd / 3rd floor and there isn’t a lift. If you can’t use stairs or lift a suitcase, here isn’t for you.
The en-suite in our room wasn’t the cleanest. When we arrived, the bin hadn’t been replaced. There was also a really strong smell of urine every time we entered the room - even after housekeeping had been. The drain for the shower was very slow, so every time we showered, the tray filled with water.
All that said, the service was lovely. The staff were helpful - especially the staff member who works the breakfast service. There was also another staff member on our last day who gave us travel information because there were no trains from Kew that day.

Great location for Kew Gardens visit, within walking system. Lack of ‘nice’ restaurants nearby. Great location for train station. Hotel was busy and staff were helpful . Walls needed a lick of paint but generally clean and worth a visit

Firstly I’m surprised that the RBG at KEW allows this hotel to be associated by name! No one seems to mention the relentless noise from the frequency of planes flying overhead that it drowns out the TV , don’t expect lie-in as they start flying by around 7am. Rooms are dated and desperately need refurbishing, however they are clean and quite well equipped. Shower/bath room modern but too dark to apply makeup. Breakfast was okay but nothing special, coffee from the flasks undrinkable , you can have cappuccino but have to pay extra!! Staff were friendly and helpful but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Near to Kew Gardens Victoria gate and district line, room had some cookies coffee and tea, Got all I needed, staff is really good and roast on Sunday was very good as well.

Stopped by to meet someone today, arrived a bit before there lunchtime opening but the staff were great, nice coffee, good prices. Would recommend if you are in the area.

We had a delightful stay at this friendly hotel. The evening meal was delicious, the bed was really comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was really close to the railway/tube station and very close to Kew Gardens (the primary reason for our visit). Although the decor needs attention in places it was not important as it was excellent value for money and exceeded our expectations - which is rare.

The hotel room was nice/okay. However the building got extremely hot, which made it difficult to sleep through the night. AC definitely needed.
