Lovely position by the Kern River just north of Kernville. Super location for peace, beautiful views and good walking. Room well kept and very clean. We had a warm and friendly welcome at reception plus helpful advice about the best route to get to Sequoia National Park when we left. Very pleased with our choice!

Cute place! Located right near the Kern River in Kernville. Rooms are nice, ours had a kitchenette area and the bed was comfortable which is always a plus in my book! Staff is friendly, even the maid said hello and wished us well on our journey back home. Will definitely be back!

Quaint room, lots of amenities, inside the room and for outdoor use. Only issue was quickly fixed by staff, leaving the entire stay pleasant.

Great place to stay close to the water convenience store with everything you need right across the street a few minutes from a great burger place and Kernville is only 20 minutes down the hill

It was out of the beat of traffic perfect didn’t hear anything but nature..rustic but nice we were there early and our room was ready.. we were given keys and went in rested..

All though the facility was older it was very well kept and clean. The location and scenery was superb. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. If you are planning a fishing trip for the Kern river this is the spot. I saw several good fishing spots and holes within walking distance. The next time we are in the area this is where we will stay.
