We hadden een hotel in Simpelveld geboekt en bij aankomst bleek de reservering zoek en de eigenaar ziek. Op het laatste moment naar een alternatief gezocht en terechtgekomen bij Fletcher Parkstad. En daar hadden we geen spijt van. Ruime kamer en badkamer, schoon en netjes en genoten van een heerlijk ontbijtbuffet. Enige minpuntje was dat de douchebak langzaam leegliep. Personeel was vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het hotel is gevestigd in het RODA JC voetbalstadion. Dit ligt aan de rand van Kerkrade bij een winkel boulevard. Parkeren in de omgeving is gratis.

Kamer 2.32 de suite: op verzoek werden 2 smerige, kringloop onwaardige, stoelen vervangen. Op het zitgedeelte vlekken die er niet horen. "Wij krijgen die er niet uit"zei de receptie. Dom antwoord. Dus gebeld met fletcher nederland. " Vervelend voor U" Als je de 2e tv met de los hangende UTP kabel wilt aansluiten, stopt de 1e tv ermee. De t****e tv is dus niks. Het handvat van de badkamerdeur hangt er losjes aan. Daar moet een mini inbuse bij komen. De airco/ verwarming zal het beslist doen, als er een gebruiksaanwijzing bij zit. Het overgordijn bij het balkon hangt ietsjes los. 1 spotje in het plafond doet niks en er zit een scheur van 10 cm in de vloerbedekking. De frisdrankautomaat op de 2e verdieping is weggehaald en ook de dagbladen die ter beschikking waren in het restaurant zijn verdwenen. 1 medewerker bij het ontbijt kan dat alleen niet aan; bezuiniging op personeel is een verkeerde keus

Limited dinning, kitchen closes at 9pm, sauna for a fee and mold in the bathroom shower. Also, black carpet in the rooms dis not give out a clean floor feeling.
