Days Inn by Wyndham Kent - Akron, Ohio

I called 3 times and the front desk lady kept hanging up on me. Will not be attending this place. Very disrespectful and rude.

A Dump! It's cheap and you get what you pay for -- maybe. It's old and run down. For starters the staff was not at all pleasant, like they were doing you a favor by letting you stay there. Again the room was run down. The was a blank space on the bathroom wall where something had been torn off. The bathroom door was shredded on the bottom from age. The calking around the tub was dirty and coming loose. The knob was missing from the shower and the shower/tub bypass was stuck in the shower positing and everything leaked like crazy. The lid on the coffee maker was broken off, and the coffee maker didn't work anyway. The small light in the outlet near the sink (night light) didn't work and I had to keep reset the circuit breaker to get the mirror to work. Breakfast was minimum hosed in a little closet off the lobby. And frankly, the staff spoke with such a thick accent it was hard to understand them. Better than sleeping out on the ground, but not by a whole lot.

I reserved a handicap room with a queen size bed. The bed was a full size. The room and bathroom were wheelchair accessible with the exception of the fixed showerhead. It made it impossible to sit on the shower chair to shower.

The flooring has cracks in it hazards, i got back from a days work arms full with bags and my passkey did not work, i was locked out. I had to go to the office to get it straight. I find a roach in the fridge and a different kind of roach running on the walls! I could not sleep. I dont trust my baggage nor do want to use the dirty chairs to sit in. What a waste of money! I had no problem at a different hotel ill be going there again instead of here!
