I booked a hotel by accident. The whole stay experience was beyond my expectation! It was night when I arrived. I already loved this small and beautiful hotel. The facilities and public entertainment areas inside are different from the big chain hotels, but unique! I like it very much and will stay here again next time!

I did not enjoy my stay here. I spent $400 on a room for one night. I was not given the room I booked and faced a brick wall. After I complained to the front desk I was sent to a room that had a buzzing sound that continuously went off. A prior guest had a similar experience and left a review about the buzzing room I sadly ignored. Now I empathise with them. The room was small. Also, the bedding had holes and the bathroom sink was cracked. I tried the in room dining (room service) and did not receive what was listed on the menu. The meal was supposed to come with Dungeness crab and tender greens. I mentioned this to the front desk and Cedar + Elm (the restaurant) and was told to wait for a call. I waited half an hour and went to talk to them in person when they did not respond. They told me they called me back but I didn’t answer. This was untrue. Next they told me I received everything I should have for my meal. Untrue again. They were rude and treated me poor. I pointed out their in room dining app menu, which I scanned in my room via QR code, was not the same as the printed menu. They never apologized but acknowledged the chef had not updated the in room dining app menu yet to reflect current offerings and to just get something else. I was done with this place by then and missed watching the sunset for my birthday on the lake because they wasted so much of my time. By the time I walked down I was in pitch dark. Oh, and my “Birthday Dinner” was a tiny smashed together lump of cured salmon with some gross sour tasting breadsticks. Overall rotten hotel experience which I flew in from another state for.

Lots of attention to details & elevated finishes + fun bars with exotic drinks on the menu. When we were there they were hosting a wedding too beautiful! And shout out to the amazing Easi in this beautiful renovated building they thought of everything! I really enjoyed the trails behind the lodge down to the lake quite refreshing!

If you are looking for a perfectly clean room with a very nice view this is a great place. The surroundings for hikes are wonderful and you must plan to eat there as well. We ate at the Cedar + Elm. Excellent service, delicious food and the only draw back was we needed a larger tummy to order more dishes as we didn't have multiple days to return. The staff in all departments were very kind and helpful. Loved it!

I had the most amazing experience in this hotel, we tried the most of the activities here and I’m more than impressed with the full service that the staff offered to me, in the restaurants, housekeeping, but specially the front desk, I want to recognize Rachelle and Kyleigh for being so helpful and supportive in every thing that I needed. Thank you all of you for this unforgettable experience!! Def would like to come back just for the great hospitality.

I have wanted to go here since it's opened because my grandparents had a home across the lake and I spent my childhood looking at the lodge (the trees weren't fully grown back then!). The rooms have been updated nicely. The breakfast offering is very limited (most seemingly to involve croissant or bacon). Where we had the issue: We arrived and checked into our room. - Our room was 78+ degrees. We called the front desk and she said the A/C is operated by body heat, so we stayed in the room. The temperature went down a few degrees over the next few hours but was never at a fully comfortable temperature. - Around 1ish am the fire alarm started going off for a few seconds. It stopped so we went back to sleep but then it started going off again around 2am so we called the front desk and we ended up moving to a new room so as not to have to deal with the fire alarm all night. - The 2nd room we moved into had some weird vibrating noise that went off every minute or so (sort of like a cell phone vibration - but we had no idea where it was coming from - it was definitely not from our cell phones). By around 4ish a.m. we decided we couldn't "try" to sleep through it so again had to end up changing rooms for a 2nd time. - The 3rd room was a perfect temperature and no noise. - The night person asked what time would be OK for a manager to give us a call the next day. - We never got a call from management and ZERO acknowledgment that there were any issues with our stay. I responded to a survey about my experience (and refused to do a Trip Advisor review at that time - thinking they might get back to me) - but I still have heard nothing from management about our experience. All it would have taken would have been a small credit - or some type of acknowledgment - for us to want to return or to not write a poor review. For the price of the room, we would expect much better customer service.

Wonderful setting, in the middle of a State Park with plenty of trails to hike and amazing play structures and bike areas for the little ones. The library is equipped with games that encourage family and/or friend time. Excellent service from friendly staff.
