Review for OR Tambo Guest House
I recently stayed at OR Tambo Guest House for three nights and had a great experience. Since my flight arrived very late at night, the staff kindly suggested a driver to pick me up, which was incredibly thoughtful and made my arrival stress-free.
The guest house was impeccably clean (5/5), and the service was excellent (5/5) – the staff was friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout my stay. The location was convenient (4/5), being close to the airport, though not much else is within walking distance.
The amenities were decent (4/5), offering all the basics I needed for a comfortable stay. While the aesthetic wasn’t my favorite (3/5), it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Breakfast had limited options, but I wasn’t upset about it – it was enough to start the day.
Overall, it’s an affordable place to stay, offering great value for the price. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and convenient spot near OR Tambo Airport.

Family room converted inn. The service is very average. We checked in only because the hotel we stayed in for a training project was nearby, and there were no rooms in the hotel for 4 days. It was okay to stay in the room two days ago. There are tables and chairs on the balcony outside the room but there is thick dust. The second time I didn't check in on the first day, but I went to give the expensive room I had already paid for to the next guest. Asked for a refund of the price difference, but said there was no price difference. Later, Ctrip refunded me the price difference very well.

We had an excellent stay! The service is friendly, and the rooms are very clean. The location is safe. I will definitely come back. We had the breakfast on our last morning, I will rate it more than 5 stars! Thank you for a really lovely stay!

Great place with a nice pool where we spent sometime with my partner. The workers are very nice and understanding. The place was convenient for us to catch a flight. It is however a bit far from the airport thab we expected. Non the less great stay. The rooms are always clean there are no smart TVs for those who wanna watch Netflix and YouTube. It is just an ordinary TV

The rooms were not cleaned properly , we moved the beds together and found rotten apple aswell as spider webs . There was no toilet paper in our bathrooms however the staff on duty (a gentleman) was very accommodating and lovely.

Area is not good. Did not feel comfortable. Sun shines directly onto room. No air conditioning. The ceiling fans high speed was like the slow speed. Nearly died of the heat. Booked out after about half an hour after arrival.
