Family room converted inn. The service is very average. We checked in only because the hotel we stayed in for a training project was nearby, and there were no rooms in the hotel for 4 days. It was okay to stay in the room two days ago. There are tables and chairs on the balcony outside the room but there is thick dust. The second time I didn't check in on the first day, but I went to give the expensive room I had already paid for to the next guest. Asked for a refund of the price difference, but said there was no price difference. Later, Ctrip refunded me the price difference very well.

Enjoyed the stay. It is close to JNB airport and very convenient. Used their recommendation for an Uber, was ver satisfied. Safely left our vehicle there for the duration of our vacation.

It was my very first time I travelled solo to a foreign country and I booked it cause it was close to the airport and I was told when I asked around that the area was safer than what I found before which was a relief. I loved each second of my staying. They gave me the breakfast packed cause I left early and, I just lived how everything you needed was in one room.

The room was comfortable and clean. What I did not expect and nor was I warned about the problem with the water supply. It had clearly been an issue before and was an issue on the night I checked in. I booked the room on my arrival from a US inbound flight and I had missed my connecting flight to Durban. I booked at the last minute and they had a room available. When I called to see if they had a room available the person I spoke to should have said they are having water issues and that I may have no water to shower that night, she did not. It was only after I had paid and went into the room that I was made aware of the water problem. At that point I was too tired to argue and there was a little water in the morning to have a quick shower. I left very early so did not raise this with the owners at the time. The water supply has been an issue and they either need to make a plan to fix it when the problem occurs or the make guests aware of the problem before they arrive. I know it has been a problem in the past because they had printed signs in the rooms to explain the issue and the signs were old. It is a pity as I would have given them a far better rating had I been made aware at the time. I was not even offered a discount on the room rate.

This place is clean, quite and feels very safe. Spacious rooms and surrounding. Thanks to Johann for keeping my mind free with excellent airport transfer arrangements.
