We stayed for one night and upon check in the front desk staff were very rigid and unfriendly. We arrived about 20 min prior to check in time. It's not a problem if rooms aren't ready but it's also really uncommon. We were told no rooms were clean yet. Though, 10 minutes later everything was clean. It just seems like poor hotel management. We were also signed to an accessible room, which we did not book, and when I inquired about why we were given this room the only explanation was "were fully booked, it's all we have. " I did make our reservation months in advance, this was not a last minute booking nor was it a discounted booking. There were no pillows/ sheets to make up the fold out couch and when we went to get those supplies because our son was going to user that bed, they couldn't locate pillows. This hotel is really just not managed well. There's mold in the accessible shower and along the grout. The only reason I'm giving this review a 2 and not a 1 is because the housekeeping staff we ran into in the halfway was so unbelievably nice! I can't believe this is a Marriott location and that we paid full price to stay here. There is no complimentary coffee. I'm happy to pay for a specialty coffee but basic, regular coffee should be complimentary. Very much below basic expectations!

Having never stayed at a Courtyard, I was anxious about our stay. ( we have stayed in many other Marriott properties) Location was downtown and close to shopping, restaurants- so that was a plus. Pleasantly surprised with our room- bed was super comfy, spacious sized room , etc. Negatives- the headboard, which is connected to a wall, was very creaky— every-time you moved even slightly, it was creaking and this was very annoying when you’re trying to sleep. Another negative- no complimentary breakfast- you could order it BUT. It was additional charge- I’m not paying for breakfast when some type of continental breakfast should be included in the rate you pay for the room. I think avocado toast was like $12- what a joke! I have not had this happen at a Marriott property before. When I approached the desk clerk about it, she was NO HELP AT ALL.

SUPER NOISY!! Stayed on the second floor and it sounded like a herd of elephants was trampling the floor above us all night long. Loud motorcycles and trucks passed outside the windows. The air conditioner and white noise app could not overcome the noise. Parking is inconvenient and crowded. Tiny bathroom. Convenient to Main St but not worth it.

The people at the lobby were nice, well located in the center of Keene, very good breakfast, the bar had a good variety of drinks. Nice pool table. There's not much shopping around. The only detail was the room key, I had to try 3 different keys, and the locks did not work in two of the rooms.

We had a king size bed in a room on the top (5th) floor and everything was clean and in good condition. The TV could slide out and rotate so you could watch from the bed or from the couch. The bathroom had a regular tub/shower. We asked for a new set of towels, which were delivered, but then there were no housekeeping services done, and the bed wasn't made. Unsure if we had to request that or not. Parking was easy and free and the hotel really is downtown, close to shops and restaurants.

I have always liked Marriott hotels, but NOT this one. Room was not cleaned the three days we were registered, and we had to ask for hangers, cups, coffee and creamers, wash cloths. Noise level was bad. Sorry. This one has escaped the attention of Marriott management. I have traveled quite a bit and this is the first negative comment I've ever made about a hotel. I'm really not that hard to please. Not anything there was up to par. Not for that price. I did love the area.

Hotel was not very clean. There was loitering in the parking lot every night which felt unsafe and when I reported it to the front desk they condoned that behavior by a “long-term” stay guest. Lots of trash in the hallway on our floor. Asked for extra towels, never got any. Drawers in the dresser were broken. Rate changed from 135 to 186. Not what I usually expect from Marriott. Very disappointing.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on May 11th. The hotel did not have hot water upon arrival. I arrived late evening so I didn't think much about it as I relaxed after traveling all evening. The next morning I needed to shower to get ready for an important meeting. There was still no hot water so an ice cold shower it was. Upon check out I overheard the guest in front of me complaining of no hot water in their room too. At check out the desk staff apologized and assured it would be taken care of when I asked to have a credit applied. I received my receipt through email and expected a reduced rate for the inconvenience. To my surprise nothing. I contacted the general manager Matthew Blanchette who did nothing more than add Bonvey Reward points to my account. I'm not a frequent Marriot customer so Bonvey Reward points mean nothing to me. I responded asking for a credit or a courtesy night as I am due back in the area in June but Matthew couldn't be bothered to respond. Things happen and I would have understood had Matthew attempted to make it right as his front desk staff assured me the hotel would, but he did not and didn't have the decency to respond to my follow up email. I would not recommend staying in this hotel. They, or at least Matthew Blanchette, do not value their guests.

First room was dirty, requested a change, second room also dirty with big spots on the carpeting. Only one set of towels in the room (asked for and received more, but they knew there were two of us coming). Bed was comfy. Vanity light was out. Fridge smelled. Garbage in the halls day and night. There was a man lurking outside when we got there the first night and another one (drunk?) in the lobby. Second night we returned to find two squad cars in front with lights flashing and a man in handcuffs in front of the lobby door. Third day we returned in the afternoon to find two more squad cars and police inside. Front desk personnel at all times seemed unconcerned and unapologetic when I asked what the heck was going on. Easily the worst Courtyard experience we have ever had.
