It was wonderful! The stars at night were incredible. It’s close to many cool things to see and do. Quiet and peaceful and yet you can make good friends with other guests if you want to.

ADK is rustic style, but it's clean and comfortable. The shower and bath were fine, parking was easy. Our room had a welcome kitchenette, and a thoughtful bag breakfast was included. The property was well maintained and quiet at night. As described, it's self- service check-in/out. We were only there overnight, but the grounds included a game room, some outdoor games, a BBQ and fire pit, etc. There are attractive flower and vegetable gardens.

Great location for our visit to Keene for a wedding. Clean room and bath, morning snacks are a yummy plus. Peaceful, scenic, just about right.

Cozy inn with an added restaurant open on Mondays and Tuesdays. I stayed here since it was convenient for me to access some of the ADK trails. Had a handy mini fridge and microwave plus my own bathroom so I could get up and go early without any delays. Would stay again next time I'm in the area for hiking or whatever.

We spent a long weekend at the Inn and found it to be a lovely place to stay The room was inviting and the grounds were also very nice. We loved the flower garden and the path behind us ran along the river. The bagged breakfast was a good start to our day and the rec room was appreciated on our rainy Sunday afternoon. There were several choices of places to eat a short drive away, and Stewart's gas station had lots of options for take out and also ice cream:) All in all we had a pleasant stay and would recommend staying here.

We returned to the Adirondacks after a 5 year absence and the ADKTrail Inn was our first stay. We had stayed there previously for 15 years. It is a great base camp for hiking and cycling. The rooms are rustic, not cluttered with televisions and other electronics. Watching and listening to the East Branch of the Ausable, which runs behind the cabins, was relaxing and inspiring. It is a great place to recharge, away from the hubbub of Lake Placid. The rates are reasonable, and Amy and her staff are very attentive. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Friendly and welcoming hosts and homey place to stay, very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the free breakfast and being able to hear and see the river from the shared garden space. Close to many sites in the High Peaks. Hope to visit again and happy to recommend to others.

Stayed there for a three night mini trip to celebrate my cat Sapphire’s First Birthday!!! We thought it was a nice place. The rooms are nice, clean & woodsy themed… It’s in a nice quiet area. Close to a lot of fun stuff to do. The breakfast was nice. It’s a bagged breakfast. You pick it up in the morning from the fridge in the office. There is a gas station pretty close by for any last minute items you might have forgot or for some snacks… If you want a nice quiet place to stay kinda close to Lake Placid and Whiteface I’d say this would be a good pick.
