We stayed in a powered site at the back of the park and the location, near the parkland and river, was lovely. The park is centrally located for a visit to Toowoomba, but there is no problem at all with traffic noise. The amenities were clean but management needs to address some maintenance issues. In the 2 days we were there, one of the shower heads I used could not be fixed rigid and therefore was impossible to use. I selected a shower with a more modern shower head the following day, and water was squirting everywhere and soaked everything. However, the park is well presented and was ideal for our short visit.

Very helpful reception. A large easy to park grassy site. Very clean and roomy facilities. The decor may be dated but the showers were hot so who cares if the tiles are original 1970s. Retro is in !!Quiet and relaxing stay. Good value park Clean camp kitchen.

We booked last minute at Easter and got a great drive thru caravan spot ( number 2) . Lovely park and very friendly staff . Clean and tidy and very quiet. The hosts even cooked up a sausage sizzle and had music on Saturday night . Very family friendly atmosphere

This place is the best in town. Stayed in Toowoomba over Australia day weekend for a family birthday gathering. Great location, huge sites, clean and a nice lake to walk around at the back of the park. At $30 a night for a caravan I think it's great value. Well done guys.

My partner and I stayed at a cabin with an ensuite early this month and were impressed by the park location and camping facilities but HATED the cabin. Not even worth the low budget we spent on it. We paid $90 for an overnight stay so weren’t expecting anything too special but I honestly would have preferred to sleep outside in a sleeping bag or tent. As the photos suggest, the cabins have not been updated in any way since being built decades ago. The cabin appeared clean aside from a musty smell and a baby cockroach and gecko running around. The kitchenette appeared tiny and has a stove— though I would be afraid to turn it on in such a small space. The double bed only had one sheet and a blanket on it— no doona. So maybe pack your own if it’s cold? No air conditioning. Only one ceiling fan and it is in the lounge part of the cabin, not the bedroom. I didn’t check for this and regretted it because with the windows closed this place is a hot box. However, with the windows open the rain and wind got in and flicked the curtains up and down creating a very bad sleeping arrangement. Shower was very small but fine. The water was VERY hot even when cold was turned all the way up. Not sure how children would shower in it. I am aware new management have taken over so I genuinely hope they spend some money on these rooms as they are simply outdated and feel grotty. In saying this, we did enjoy walking through the caravan park and walking down to the ponds to see the wildlife. We may come back in a van, but will never consider the cabins again unless I see these reviews change.

We hadn't booked but just walked in and chose a site we liked towards the back that was nice and quiet away from any road noise. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. The caravan park is conveniently located along the road out to Warwick. The amenities block is a tad tired but clean. Liked the long shower cubicles so clothes didn't get wet. The BBQ area was welcoming. The reserve and lagoon at the back were a pleasant surprise. Value for money.
