Marco Polo Hotel Gudauri ★★★★★
"We’ve always stayed in New Gudauri in an apartment, but this year decided to try Marco Polo instead – and overall we were really pleased we made the change. Pros: • The rooms were clean and comfortable, although fairly basic. • A special mention to Pavlay, the gentleman running the ski lockers – absolutely brilliant. Always helpful, friendly, and genuinely made things easier for us every day. • The restaurant was very good. Evening meals were excellent and definitely stronger than the breakfast offering. • The spa was lovely – a great way to relax after a long day on the slopes. • Restaurant staff were consistently helpful and attentive. • Reception staff were also friendly and efficient. • We were initially concerned about the location compared to New Gudauri, but it actually worked out perfectly and wasn’t an issue at all. Areas for Improvement: • The ski rental service could improve. One member of staff in particular didn’t seem very welcoming and didn’t appear very knowledgeable about what a national ID is, which made the process more complicated than it needed to be. • The bar atmosphere was disappointing. Staff rarely seemed happy and wouldn’t allow drinks to be charged to the room. It’s a shame, as this area has real potential but often felt empty because of the lack of energy and flexibility. • The gym would benefit from some heavier dumbbells. The space is decent, but a slightly wider range of weights would make it much better for guests who train regularly. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider returning. With a few small improvements, this hotel could move from very good to excellent."
Hotel Deka Gudauri ★★
"Everything was absolutely wonderful! The hosts and staff were very welcoming, the rooms were clean, large, and bright, and the beds were comfortable. The location was excellent, with no problems with parking. The ski lift was only about three hundred meters away, but it was uphill. But I'm 54 and over 100, so it took me about 10 minutes to get there with my ski boots and skis. I skied down. The continental breakfast was excellent; you won't leave hungry, the cottage cheese and milk were homemade, and everything was delicious. The hotel also has a café with national cuisine, and everything was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The only thing we didn't quite understand when we checked in was that it was advisable to order in advance, so we had to wait a bit. That's not the café's fault, but ours, as it's not a popular café; they only serve to order, but everything is fresh and prepared especially for you. But we had a nice time, chatting, and everything was ready for us within an hour. Since the pass was closed, we had to stay another day. Unfortunately, we couldn't extend our hotel stay as it was fully booked, but the hosts made arrangements and arranged for us to stay elsewhere. Overall, we were very satisfied, and a big thank you to the hosts. We'll be back again next time!"

THANKS everyone we felt right at home and this will always be a place we will comeback to!"

"Great hotel, comfortable, very helpful and attentive staff. Laid back vibe. Stunning views in the front, even for Stepantsminda. the food at the restaurant very delicious"
Rooms Hotel Kazbegi ★★★★★
"As this hotel seems to be geared mainly toward group tourists, the breakfast was exactly the same every day during my 3-night stay. I stayed in Room 150 for three nights, and I could not sleep properly because of the streetlight outside. The blackout curtains did not fully close, allowing light to enter the room as shown in the photo below. For a short stay of one or two nights, this may not be a major issue. However, for guests staying longer than two nights, I would not recommend this hotel. Other than the view, I did not feel particularly comfortable or well-rested during my stay."
Porta Caucasia Kazbegi ★★★★
"I stayed here in downtown Kazbegi for 3 nites. I got a big room with a sitting room & balcony for 1/3 of what Rooms Hotel was charging. This hotel has a winery, & their wine shop provides free glasses of wine for guests. I was a little surprised there is no AC in this modern hotel. The breakfast included the offer of omelettes & espresso etc. The restaurant has a nice covered outside balcony, tho’ I did not have dinner here. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was wonderful."
Memoria Kazbegi ★★★★
Mood Hotel Kazbegi ★★★★
"It was a wonderful experience to stay in Mood Hotel in Kazbegi. Very good mountains view from the terrace of our room. The lady at the reception was very helpful even she couldn't speak English but very good. We had dinner at the hotel which she cooked for us. Very nice boutique hotel. I like the miniatures in the hotel. A nice mini library."
