Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel ★★★★
"Hotel is a little old but still clean. Food is amazing so I would like recommend"
Kamishihoro Hotel ★★
"The room was small but very clean, including the bathroom. The Kamishihoro milk for breakfast was delicious! The municipal hot spring, where you can get a bathing ticket, also has a waterfall bath, mist sauna, and sauna, so it was very pleasant to warm up."
Nukabirakan Kanko Hotel ★★★
"Nice environment"
Kangetsuen ★★★★
"The Tokachi Kangetsuen Hotel enjoys high ratings, boasting a rare "plant-based beauty bath" onsen (hot spring) in Hokkaido, river-view rooms, and high-value dining, making it a representative accommodation choice in the Tokachi River onsen area. This onsen hotel, located in Otokura-cho, Hokkaido, sits on the banks of the Tokachi River, about a 20-minute drive from Obihiro city center. Its tranquil environment is perfect for a relaxing vacation. ♨️ Accommodation Highlights • Unique Hot Spring: Utilizing the unique "Moor Spring" (plant-based hot spring) of the Tokachi region, the water is yellowish-brown, rich in organic matter and minerals, and is known for its moisturizing and beautifying effects, earning it the nickname "Beauty Bath." • Diverse Room Options: Offers Japanese, Japanese-Western, and Western-style rooms. Some rooms feature private open-air baths with views of the Tokachi River (I chose a private open-air bath this time). Breakfast and dinner are mostly buffet style, using local ingredients such as Wagyu beef, seafood, and vegetables, offering a wide variety of dishes. Some room types offer kaiseki cuisine. • Comprehensive Facilities: The hotel features an open-air bath, public bath, spa, convenience store, and relaxation area. After your bath, you can enjoy tea and fruit tea. • Attentive Service: The front desk staff are friendly and provide yukata (light robes), welcome snacks, and a capsule coffee machine. Room amenities are complete. If you want to experience high-quality hot springs, enjoy tranquil riverside scenery, and sumptuous cuisine in Hokkaido, Tokachi Kangetsuen Hotel is definitely a highly recommended choice."
Shikaribetsu Kohan Onsen Hotel Fusui ★★★
"The best hotel in Lake Monbetsu, bar none, built on the lake, with the entire lake view outside the window. In winter, the ice village and the entire lake are literally outside the window You must go to the outdoor pool on the second floor to soak, the beautiful view will make you unforgettable. (The open-air view for ladies is much better than that for men 😄) The food is also OK"
Hotel Tetoraresort Tokachigawa ★★
"The hotel staff are courteous and friendly. The hot springs are very good. The room is neat and clean. The equipment in the room is also very new. The dinner was rich and delicious. I was very full. Although the breakfast dishes were not many, they were very delicious and left me with a pleasant stay. Memories of stay."
Tokachigawa Moor Onsen Seijyakubow ★★★★★
"Japanese hot spring hotel service is very nice It’s not easy to call Uber. The hotel can help call a taxi. The local drivers in Obihiro don't speak English very well, but the hotel staff can speak English well."
Kanno Onsen ★★
"Really hidden in the nowhere- we finally found and arrived full of expectations. (Finally as our GPS lost the signal…) From the outside it looked not nice at all, but inside the House as well as inside the Onsen it looked very nice. Staff were very nice and friendly, breakfast and dinner (!) super. We felt very welcome all the time. Outside you see plenty of deers close to the house and the surroundings. We didn’t see any bears - which is good or not, depending upon your wishlists. Don’t expect party and nightlife, but quietness and relaxation. I can’t imagine how fantastic it must be in winter, with snow outside and warm ovens inside - there is a pallet oven in each room - im am sure it heats up perfectly."
Shikaribetsu Lakeside Onsen Hotel Fusui ★★
"Location is abit isolated during winter, thus this hotel provide dinner and that why we are loving it. the view from the room overseeing Shikaribetsu lake is hard to beat."

Sanyoan
"The best onsen experience I’ve had. The entire property is packed with care and kindness by the staff and fully equipped with everything you need from toiletries to happy hour. The kaiseki dinner was one of the best I’ve had - not only the food but also the setting and presentation. Incredible to use the next door hotels big onsen and the outdoor onsen was beautifully landscaped. The most gentle and intimate care of the staff really helped me relax and unwind the years hard work and stress. My mother very much loved as well. Thank you Sanyoan. I look forward to coming back soon 💖"
Hotel Hounomai Otofuke
"The explanation at the front desk was too simple and confusing. It said there was free Wi-Fi, but the hotel's description didn't include a password. I asked and was told it was in a drawer in the room. I wish they'd explain that. The hot spring water is very hot, so I recommend it for people who like that. Also, it's a day-use hot spring, so it was crowded, and there were a lot of people washing vegetables. It might not be very relaxing. I only stayed overnight, but I paid at the restaurant. The buffet was delicious. I wish they'd include soft drinks for guests."
