"Although it is a single room, the room space is large, but there is a problem with the faucet of the washbasin in the room. The public pool is clean and has an open-air bath. The location is slightly away from other hot spring hotels, so there are no convenience stores for shopping, which is less convenient. According to other people's comments, the water quality is different from that of Tokachigawa Onsen. It is a common hot spring. I didn't notice it."

"The food and accommodation are good, the rooms are neat and clean, and I'm basically satisfied. There are paid washing and drying facilities which are very practical. It's a pity that I came at the wrong time. The indoor hot spring facilities and washing area were damaged due to the loss of water over time, and there was no water. Only one pool is operating normally, but the other indoor pool is receiving water from a faucet, which means that the water in the pool is just ordinary pipe water. But there is a lot of scale, and it seems that no one has cleaned it for a long time. Maybe it is located in a remote place, or it is already heavily in debt and lacks funds for repairs. The water quality of the hot springs is very good and has not deteriorated. The employees have lost their vitality and have no prospects. They are just living one day at a time, which seems to reflect that this place is dying and barely surviving. It really makes people worry about their business conditions. From the details, it can be seen that the actual operators have tried their best to maintain it. The only way out is to wait for the hotel group to acquire it before it can continue to operate. Otherwise, this spring with excellent quality will return to nature. I hope to see them in operation next time I come."

Shikaribetsu Kohan Onsen Hotel Fusui

Shikaribetsu Kohan Onsen Hotel Fusui

"I stayed here on my way back from hiking. I stayed here two years ago and really liked it, so I visited again. The building is quite old, but clean and comfortable. The cleaning was thorough. I was surprised to see no dust even on the sliding door railings. The room is 10 tatami mats large enough for one person, and there is ample space around the veranda and entrance, and the toilet is also spacious. The towel racks are easy to use, with small features such as the ability to hang two bath towels and two regular towels at a time. The bathroom in the room is also relatively spacious, making it convenient for washing off sweat and mud from hiking. The large public bath (for men) is simply equipped with one indoor and one outdoor bath, but the spectacular view overlooking Lake Shikaribetsu changes with the time of day, so you'll never get bored no matter how many times you soak. The hot spring water is rich in iron, so it's warming. There is limited parking on the premises, but there is ample space behind the building across the road. Even on cold and rainy days, staff will wait outside to guide you. The food is average. It is common for many employees to be from foreign countries, but they are well-trained."

"The moor spring water from Tokachigawa Onsen flows abundantly into both the large public bath and the open-air bath. The temperature wasn't too high, allowing for a relaxing and refreshing soothing experience. Both dinner and breakfast were served buffet-style, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes."

Nukabirakan Kanko Hotel ★★★
"The facilities are old, but they didn't feel unsanitary, and rather had a nice retro feel to them. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The food was delicious, and I was able to relax. What I liked most was the hot springs. Not only did they leave my skin feeling smooth, but they were also gentle and didn't cool down easily after bathing. If you're a fan of hot springs, I highly recommend you go."

Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel ★★★★
"Good dinner and breakfast buffet! Onsen is also large and spacious for the outdoor portion. Perfect to go there during cool weather in autumn. Also had table tennis table for entertainment. Only thing is that they do not have any private onsen for couples booking at a fee (need to book special rooms with attached onsen if you want a private bath)"

"Although it was a double room, the room was larger than I expected, and the washroom was also spacious and easy to use. The tap water was drinkable. The hot spring was clean and easy to use. Milk was served as a welcome drink. They actively purchase milk and serve it to all guests so that everyone can drink it. The location was a little far from Obihiro city, and it was quiet and very comfortable. The hot spring was also good. I would like to use it again when I come to Obihiro!"

"I stopped by when I went to Fukuhara Sanso. I hadn't been there for a while because it felt more expensive than it was under previous management, but now that the entrance fees for the surrounding areas have gone up considerably, it feels like a bargain, and it feels like a good deal to be able to bathe in such quality spring water. Although it has lost its charm due to renovations due to aging, I'm grateful that they have been able to maintain low prices by introducing ticket vending machines for day-use bathers and streamlining the process."

"Japanese hot spring hotel service is very nice It’s not easy to call Uber. The hotel can help call a taxi. The local drivers in Obihiro don't speak English very well, but the hotel staff can speak English well."
