From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we were welcomed with genuine kindness and outstanding hospitality. The service was truly five-star, and every member of the staff made us feel at home. We would especially like to thank Arafat at the reception and the manager, Hemed, for their generosity, professionalism, and warm welcome. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. A very special thank you also goes to Prince. He is an incredible person whose kindness, positive attitude, and dedication made a huge difference to our experience. He truly helped make our stay unforgettable. We would also like to recognize the entertainment team, who were always so friendly, cheerful, and full of energy. Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort

"If I have to summarise our experience in one word then it would be "Outstanding". From the moment we arrived till we left, we were offered a very personalised yet very private kind of attention. We concluded our Tanzania trip at Zanzibar. After 5 days of safari which was exhausting, Tulia was a breath of fresh air. The location is right on the beach with private access. Its a small hotel in middle of a vast green space. We stayed in the Luxury oceanfront villa which has views of expansive ocean and offers absolute privacy. This room is huge with a private deck and sitting area overlooking the ocean. The cleanliness is on the mark. They offer housekeeping services twice a day. The food is amazing with a new curated menu everyday. We are vegetarian and our menu used to be curated separately and both the chefs used to make sure in person that our dietary needs are very well taken care of. The surprise platter of snacks sent to me by the chef in the room was such a lovely gesture. Front office manager Mr. Andre took great care of us making our stay immensely pleasurable. The entire staff is dedicated to your services making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Every evening we used to have great fun at the bar. The bartenders are very friendly. All our dietary needs and demands were met, usual or unusual. The Tulia family is full of warmth and friendliness. They make you feel very welcome. You completely feel at home. The hotel is very well designed. I am in awe of their sustainability practices. They produce 85% of their fresh produce, have their own chicken and duck farm, in-house supply of water from well and minimum use of plastic. Joseph from the restaurant team took great care of us in making our meal very special and memorable The dinner time is like a celebration. They arrange some sort of entertainment every evening which is like very amazing and enjoyable. I will be grateful to Tulia family for such a memorable stay and wonderful experience. I highly recommend Tulia!!!"

"A wonderful stay. The rooms are not luxury, but spacious and have everything you need including A/C, a small fridge and really good Shampoo, shower gel and Lotion. Room Service is good, the rooms are very clean. The location is rather quiet and remote. So ideal for people looking for a relaxing time and not the Party people. It is located directly at the White, powedery beach with a bit garden area with a large enough Pool. With just a fee room Bahati is absolutely lovely and the staff is absolutely amazing. The Restaurant is also really good. The Menu is very international, so not focussed on lokal Kitchen - but I tjink many guests prefer what is offered. The pizza is really good. We had the Malaysian Prawn Curry and the Butter Chicken and he chicken burger. Only the Fries could be improved. I loved breakfast. With freshly made mixed Juice and a good Selekction of breakfast options. So if you want some relaxeing days at a great location, I can only recommend Bahati. You get excellent value for Money and can really feel at home here."

"We arrived on June 7, 2025, at 5:30 a.m., having left home at 5:00 a.m. the day before, and it was a real letdown. The receptionist told me the room wouldn't be ready until 2:00 p.m., and that I also had to pay €30 for early arrival, even though the trip was organized by Promovacances. There's absolutely nothing around the hotel, no shops, no supermarket; it's a complete wasteland... and it's pretty awful, but that's true of everywhere on the island. On our last day, our departure was scheduled for midnight, and we had to return the room key by noon, otherwise it would have been an extra charge. Dinner costs €25 per person, and of course, there's no way to eat anywhere else. I don't recommend this hotel, and for us, Zanzibar was a first and definitely a last time. We spent more on tips than on souvenirs..."

"I stayed for 2 nights at the F-Zeen hotel as a solo traveler. Every single person that works there are lovely and welcoming and can't do enough for you. The food is served as a buffet style and usually consists of a mixture of foods and there is also a chef at the grill ready to cook you something fresh. The location is perfect and you can walk along the beach in either direction. While you are at the hotel you won't be hastled but if you head up or down on the beach then people will hastle you to look at their shop or book an excursion. If you did want a bit of variety then there are a few restaurants that you can walk to along the beach. I was staying in a bungalow with a garden view and it was just as pictured and I was located right by the pool. There are lots of seats and loungers to relax on by the pool and on the beach. It was very quiet when I went so was just what I was looking for before flying to the mainland. I also went scuba diving with Dive Point, that the hotel recommended, and they were also amazing so can highly recommend them too! Would 100% come back here to stay and can't recommend them enough - thank you for looking after me."
