Grecotel La Riviera at Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park

Excellent location, facilities (water park, swimming pools, kids club...). It was the high season and the hotel felt not crowded at all. No lines in the water park. Great experience!

The best resort, I highly recommend it for couples and families. It is characterized by cleanliness and the staff are very friendly. Its disadvantages are that it is far from the city.

We went on a vacation here for a week and we really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and there were lots of options for everyone. We had the Comfort pack and it was truly convenient since there were drinks included. The resort was clean and we were satisfied with everything. The staff were top notch, always helpful and created a great atmosphere during our vacation. Special thanks goes to Stelios, waiter from Beach and Lobby bar, he was always kind, smiling and made our vacation unforgettable. Another one goes to Chloe, she was always helpful, caring, and showed us the resort, so we did not feel lost:) We are truly grateful for this experience and we appreciate the services of the resort!

Grecotel tops the lot. It’s a chain but somehow has that cosy, familiar feel to it. Accommodation: great quality, clean, fresh and with everything you need. Food and drink: We did the comfort package and it had all we needed and more. Traditional Greek dishes like Gemista, Stiffada, Briam all made for a great menu. Staff: the people at Grecotel are what elevate it to exceptional. There are so many genuinely lovely people working here. Extra special shout out to Anthi and Maria in the restaurant - both amazing and make you feel special. Guest services: Just brilliant. They arranged excursions, transfers, lunches and sightseeing opportunities for us. We had no worries because they took care of it all.

We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in September at the Grecotel Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park. Yes, it's true, the rooms are a bit rundown and need updating, but the hotel grounds are wonderful and the beach is breathtaking. Special thanks to the bar manager in the main building (sorry, I don't remember his name), who served excellent drinks and with whom we had interesting conversations. All the best to you and the rest of the hotel staff. We'll definitely be back!!!

We were upgraded to this hotel as we had booked another hotel on the resort that was then unavailable. This hotel is very good, and we were very happy with the upgrade. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the staff and provided with some free refreshing drinks, these were very good and much needed. The food at the main restaurant is some of the best I have had from a hotel, tasted fresh, and had variety. Our room was absolutely stunning, with views of the sea. Housekeeping were also very good and friendly. Staff were generally very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We had half board, which was breakfast and dinner. We found a few good places for lunch in the nearby village, which are very reasonable, so wasn't an issue for us. As the hotel wanted 770 euro to upgrade to their comfort package, which essentially included lunch and selected drinks. There were a couple of negatives that I did notice though. These being the cleanliness of some of the pools and near the toilets by the pool bar, not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The neighbouring Oasis hotel was closed as such we couldn't use their facilities. The bike rental was not open, as such we could not rent a bike. However, the hotel did offer us complimentary fruit and wine as an appolgy. We enquired about the archery which was included free with the hotel. However, we were told they were expecting rain and they would contact us for the next available slot, we were never contacted. The hotel removed the outside gym overnight, and with no warning, not great. They also closed the inside pool 3 days before we left. The inside gym is ok but is lacking in equipment, some cables would be a great addition as well as a squat rack. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay. If you are travelling here I would recommend traveling from Zakynthos then getting the ferry to Kylinni, then a taxi to the hotel as the airport in Kalamata is some distance away.
