We had the best stay at Tikitam. The staff were some of the kindest, friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever come across. They constantly went out of their way to make sure we were having a happy stay. The hotel is beautiful, situated on a massive garden, the rooms are so nice with super comfy beds and strong AC and the pool and private beach is really nice too. But perhaps the highlight here is the food - so delicious! They did a different themed night each night, and it was all amazing. If we ever come back we will definitely stay at Tikitam again!!

The best hotel I've ever been to! Amazing staff - not intrusive but very helpful. Diverse, delicious food. Beautiful, spacious room. Unbelievable garden with monkeys and bushbabies. Spa with a wide range of massages. Last but definitely not least, lots of cuddly cats :) I recommend this hotel to everyone who looks for some peace

L’hotel è meraviglioso, immerso nella natura e affacciato direttamente sul mare, con una splendida piscina che si apre sulla spiaggia. Ogni mattina ci svegliavano le simpatiche scimmiette che saltavano tra i rami dei tamarindi, sembrava di essere nella foresta di Jozani! Il servizio è stato impeccabile: tutto lo staff è attento, gentile e sempre sorridente. Una menzione speciale va a Mubarak, con la sua cucina deliziosa, e a Juma, che ci ha fatto vivere splendide attività mattutine tra escursioni in canoa e stelle marine. Una vacanza davvero indimenticabile, fatta di relax, natura e accoglienza calorosa. Super consigliato!

È stato tutto PERFETTO! Non penso di riuscire a trovare le parole per descrivere la cura, la gentilezza, l’attenzione, la disponibilità di tutto lo staff del Tikitam. L’albergo è un paradiso, tutto super pulito e nulla è lasciato al caso. Siamo arrivati alle 4 di notte e l’accoglienza è stata nonostante la tarda ora impeccabile, quando uscivano per le gite al mattino molto presto gentilmente ci hanno preparato finanche la colazione da portar via, la stanza veniva impeccabilmente sistemata due volte al giorno lasciando dei fiori sul letto. Grazie allo chef Mubarack per averci deliziato ogni giorno con cibo squisito, Sumi grazie per i tuoi massaggi magnifici e la tua dolcezza, grazie a Juma, Jumani, le ragazze del ristorante, grazie a tutti per averci coccolato e curato ogni piccolo dettaglio rendendo il nostro soggiorno davvero un sogno (il cocco servito sulla spiaggia senza averlo richiesto, il buongiorno affettuoso del mattino, l’averci fatto sentire come in una grande casa, le piante di questo posto curate e meravigliose). Porterò nel mio cuore il sorriso di tutti voi, il vero significa di HAKUNA MATATA e l’immensa dedizione e professionalità che caratterizza ogni membro del Tikitam palms resort. Pasamos cuatro días en este maravilloso hotel. Nos alojamos en la habitación Safari, y nos gustó mucho, no le falta ni un detalle. Todo el personal fue súper amable y simpático, en especial Amiri y el Chef, que se desvivieron en todo momento. De hecho, la última noche nos prepararon una cena para nosotros solos en la playa y la verdad es que fue una experiencia increíble. Por poner alguna pega, la piscina estaba un poco sucia y la playa prácticamente no se puede usar por las mareas y las algas, pero se está tan bien en el hotel, que no se echa de menos. En definitiva, el hotel nos encantó y es ideal si buscas paz y tranquilidad.

I stayed at a few hotels in Zanzibar and here it is different - they preserved original bush with its fragrances , enriched with flowers and some local endemic plants , banana tress etc . Authentic African style architecture is placed inside this tropical botanical garden , with tastefully decorated rooms, each has a different theme and local art or decoration. Almost a private pool on the secluded beach, drinking a real coconut water makes it wonderfully relaxing and the life slows down….The cuisine is absolutely delicious. At evening dinner they have some life shows - I enjoyed Zanzibar traditional tharab music band . Must see.

Perfect cleanliness and service, great food. Very polite staff. Beautiful facility with so much respect for nature. The food is very good, varied, and fresh, and the spa service is so relaxing and professional. I was truly very satisfied.

Our stay at this hotel was truly disappointing. It definitely doesn't deserve a 5-star rating. The biggest disappointment was the lack of a beach, even though the website promised one. Furthermore, the food was very monotonous, certainly not what you'd expect from a luxury resort. The music selection was old, not modern, and didn't fit the Zanzibar hype and trend. All in all, a very unpleasant experience, and definitely not worth the price we paid. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.
