The room is very different from the picture. Room condition is dirty and old(the worst condition I stayed in Zanzibar) The worst thing was the attitude of reception staffs and the boss. They are too rude and disrespectful and unpleasant. Because the room is very different from the picture, I requested refund, the boss responded in rude manner and no refund. The room is rusty and dirty. The drain hole in bathroom is clogged with hair. And swimming is impossible because ebb tide. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Thank you for no refund and giving me an opportunity to share my worst experience ever with whom considering Diamonds Mapenzi. I recommend you never make a reservation. Please do go other hotel.

The most incredible week with special school friends of over 50 years! Couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful resort to have our precious reunion. Staff were all exceptional! Nothing is ever too much for them. Treated like queens all week. The resort runs so smoothly. Could not recommend more highly.

We were welcomed with such generosity from the friendliest staff. A special shout out to Omar who did our introductory walk through and by the time we left, we could sincerely call him a friend. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking, our room was always made up beautifully and very clean. One of our favorite parts of the day was going to dinner, and walking into Herith - who went out of her way to make our trip so much more fun and enjoyable! The entertainment was brilliant and the variety of activities was endless. We will definitely be back to Diamonds Mapenzi, to come back and visit our now chosen family there. Very nice hotel with good and professional staff since we arrived we received an amazing service from all departments. Special thank to the animation team Herieth, Kombo, Veronica, Alessia, Elisa, James, Miraji, Janette and the recreational manager Jamal. We played beach volley tournaments, we partecipated to the fashion show and we really enjoy during our honeymoon. Restaurant and food in general are excellent and very various. Rooms are spaciuos, clean and without moskito. We hope to come back again.

We had the pleasure of spending two weeks at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach, with a safari in between, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was in order and we enjoyed every single moment. The resort is beautifully maintained and instantly gives you the authentic feeling of Zanzibar and Africa. It’s one of those rare hidden gems that deserves to be on every traveler’s list. A very special thanks goes to Jamal and his entire team, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel at home and turned our trip into something even more memorable. This is truly one of those places where photos don’t do it justice - you have to experience it yourself. Stunning, authentic, and unforgettable. Definitely not our last visit!

Had a fantastic 6 days here after our Safari, the staff are all very friendly and make your stay special, rooms are very clean and spacious, location is right on the beach where I need to give special thanks to Baraza & Wazisi who work so hard in getting the sunbeds put where you want them, nothing is too much trouble. Always there when you need them.

Most of the beautiful hotel in Zanzibar we always get invitations to the hotel because of the government work but Diamonds mapenzi is top notch from begging to the end everyone is smiling and helpful especially and big shot to Jamal invited us to join beach volleyball and teach us how to play. Food was delicious with different choices from breakfast, lunch and dinner drinks are very reasonable with lots of fresh juice. Room was immaculate with a lot of amenities. All the facilities around the hotel beach is clean service around the beach area was fabulous nice towels. A lot of animation activities good fashion show, karaoke was superb. Highly recommend!
