The room is very different from the picture. Room condition is dirty and old(the worst condition I stayed in Zanzibar) The worst thing was the attitude of reception staffs and the boss. They are too rude and disrespectful and unpleasant. Because the room is very different from the picture, I requested refund, the boss responded in rude manner and no refund. The room is rusty and dirty. The drain hole in bathroom is clogged with hair. And swimming is impossible because ebb tide. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Thank you for no refund and giving me an opportunity to share my worst experience ever with whom considering Diamonds Mapenzi. I recommend you never make a reservation. Please do go other hotel.

Je recommande vivement cet hôtel très bien rénové avec des équipements de qualité et très confortable. 😋Les repas sont très bons et très variés . 🥳L’ambiance est géniale grâce à la superbe équipe d’animation et son manager Jamal. 🌊Les piscines sont agréables et il y a toujours des transats de disponibles. La plage est magnifique et très bien géré par Wasili, le meilleur beach boy 😉 Tout le personnel est au petit soin. Nous avons passé de très bons moments en famille, merci à toute l’équipe du Mapenzi ! 🥰

Un superbe établissement pour passer des vacances reposantes. Les locaux sont récents, la décoration est épurée, tout est propre. La nourriture est de qualité & sans risque car nettoyée avec de l'eau minérale. Si vous sous posiez des questions, une seule réponse, allez-y !

El hotel es fabuloso, todos los empleados son muy profesionales y amables. La comida es deliciosa y las zonas de descanso de playa / piscina son lo suficientemente amplias como para que nunca se vean abarrotadas. Hay actividades en el hotel y servicios de masaje…todo lo necesario!! Especial gracias a Memory y al equipo de recepción por su impecable atención!

Fabulous stay in a very nice hotel with quality staff with the special mention for Jamal is great man always. The food is formidable all dishes are really great! It is top quality. This hotel is definitely 5 star it was the most beautiful and unforgettable experience. We were made to feel at home immediately by the nice General Manager (Mr Daniel). We will definitely come back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Diamonds mapenzi Beach Resort. The hotel and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The location was lovely, on a private beach, and overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean. The food in the main buffet restaurant was good and plentiful, if I had any observation it would be that they might benefit from a couple more ‘safe’ child friendly options, though pizza was available at the beach restaurant! My fussy children certainly didn’t starve! However, the main highlight for us, was the staff. They were, without fail, warm, smiling, welcoming and wonderful! Thank you so much for making our stay so special and memorable.
