The room is very different from the picture. Room condition is dirty and old(the worst condition I stayed in Zanzibar) The worst thing was the attitude of reception staffs and the boss. They are too rude and disrespectful and unpleasant. Because the room is very different from the picture, I requested refund, the boss responded in rude manner and no refund. The room is rusty and dirty. The drain hole in bathroom is clogged with hair. And swimming is impossible because ebb tide. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Thank you for no refund and giving me an opportunity to share my worst experience ever with whom considering Diamonds Mapenzi. I recommend you never make a reservation. Please do go other hotel.

Had a fantastic 6 days here after our Safari, the staff are all very friendly and make your stay special, rooms are very clean and spacious, location is right on the beach where I need to give special thanks to Baraza & Wazisi who work so hard in getting the sunbeds put where you want them, nothing is too much trouble. Always there when you need them.

I recently stayed at a beachside hotel and had a truly memorable experience! From the stunning beach views to the perfect animation activities and enjoyed the art and creativity we enjoyed the Karaoke and The Fashion from Jamal and his entire Recreation team, every part of the stay was thoughtfully curated. The beach was undoubtedly one of the highlights. Clean, well-maintained, and with plenty of sunbeds available, it offered the perfect place to relax. The water was crystal-clear and ideal for swimming or just enjoying the waves. Staff were attentive, always making sure guests had what they needed. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. It had a beautiful sea view, comfortable bedding, and all the necessary amenities. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything spotless throughout the stay. A peaceful night's sleep was never a problem. The karaoke nights were a blast! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just singing for fun, the atmosphere was fun, supportive, and high-energy. It was a great way for guests to mingle, laugh, and let loose. Food was delicious with an amazing decoration, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. see you soon!

The swimming pool was absolutely fantastic! Super clean, well-maintained, and perfect for all ages. The water temperature was just right, and there were plenty of loungers available The animation team was amazing! So full of energy and always keeping the atmosphere lively and fun. The daily activities for both kids and adults were well-organized and entertaining from pool games and dance classes to evening shows Karaoke and Fashion show those Jamal organise and was stunning that had everyone laughing and cheering. Thank to Jamal really made our holiday unforgettable! Room are spacious and immaculate well maintained and lots of amenities, comfy beds and bathroom. Bar looking very good with great drinks everyone is really good. The Swahili lesson was absolutely amazing with the traditional art and craft, sip and paint and we really enjoyed the beach area. I can say the animation is really good organise.

My husband and I had a great experience at Dimond Mapenzi Beach resort. The African style of the hotel is truly amazing. The rooms are clean and spacious. Our chambermaid Nyome was a young, beautiful humble lady who made the room looking immaculate. The food in the main restaurant, as well as in the beach restaurant was amazing. Victor, the chef, and Assab , the restaurant manager, made big efforts to satisfy the guests. Diner was often served on the beach. What an amazing thing to do. Zabibu, Anitha , Fred (trainee) and the other members of staff on the bars and restaurants were ever so friendly and nice. Beach boys Zariba and Millcome were very helpful too. I want to tank everybody, including Daniel, the manager, for making our stay so pleasant and happy.

We had the pleasure of spending two weeks at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach, with a safari in between, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was in order and we enjoyed every single moment. The resort is beautifully maintained and instantly gives you the authentic feeling of Zanzibar and Africa. It’s one of those rare hidden gems that deserves to be on every traveler’s list. A very special thanks goes to Jamal and his entire team, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel at home and turned our trip into something even more memorable. This is truly one of those places where photos don’t do it justice - you have to experience it yourself. Stunning, authentic, and unforgettable. Definitely not our last visit!

This is a wonderful hotel on a beautiful beach.. staff are extremely helpful and very friendly big thank you Jamal for his wonderful moment with us. We enjoyed the beach volleyball with animation team it was very funny. Food is great with amazing taste, room are spacious and we'll maintain lots of amenities with comfortable bed. Everything was super amazing. Thank you General Manager Daniel for his peaceful and smiling. Setting nice managers each department and made our holiday unforgettable especially recreation manager and his entire team. Thank you sana!
