We had a beautiful room with a view of the ocean, which made our stay truly special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was terrific—we enjoyed every meal. We’d highly recommend the private snorkeling trips they arrange, especially if you want to avoid big crowds. A couple of things to note for other travelers: the rooms aren’t overly spacious, which made it tricky to keep two suitcases open at the same time, and there were noticeably more mosquitos here than on the mainland, so bring good repellent. The only potential improvement would be if staff could take drink orders by the pool, so you don’t always have to walk to the bar. Overall, though, a wonderful stay in Zanzibar with great hospitality and stunning surroundings.

I stayed at Zanziblue for 2 nights on a solo trip. Every staff member was very friendly and welcoming throughout my whole trip so thank you! I had a wonderful drink on arrival in the relaxing reception area. I had a great massage (with fresh drink afterwards). I also went on 2 trips organised by the hotel (one was the reef tour and the other was snorkelling at Mnemba Island). Reception was very helpful in booking and the guides were great. You can also use things like water shoes and beach towels from the hotel. Every location to relax at the hotel is lovely whether in the room, balcony, beach or restaurants. The food was also incredible with a choice of 3 restaurant areas plus room service. I'd highly recommend Zanziblue and have already told lots of friends!

Nice place located in pure nature where you feel welcomme from the reservation step until your last minutes of stay. Well orginised management, quite clean place with great food experience for who is interesting in cuisine.

Our time at Zanziblue was idyllic. The beach out front was quiet and clean. We really loved how the whole property was calm and relaxing. The food at the restaurant was excellent! A great variety on the menu. Lots of fresh fish options but also great comfort food. The bar had fantastic, fun cocktails and great mocktails and smoothies. They also figured out how to make me a rooibos latte. At high tide the waves come right up to the property and then at low tide a guide can take you out to look at all the creatures in the ocean. I loved coming back to a tidy place with the beds made and fresh towels. We had massages and the massage therapist was fantastic. We also took a tour out to Mnembe arranged by the hotel. The spice farm they recommend was also amazing. Sometimes internet was spotty in certain rooms but generally worked great throughout the property. No real concerns there. We had to make a local phone call to the airline and they helped us make the call no problems. This was a once in a lifetime trip for us and Zaniblue made it a dream come true.

Excellent beachfront property. Great beach that is not crowded. Can safely enjoy the property and beach area. We had friends visit us for lunch one day, they were staying at other resorts and were impressed with our site. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend the site and would definitely return.

We loved our stay! The hotel was so on top of it. Since we just got engaged, they brought us breakfast in bed. I highly recommend. We also had a romantic dinner on the beach and massages. They were right on time and the shower was amazing! Best hotel in Zanzibar!

I was completely satisfied with this property! The staff was wonderful. The restaurant staff was friendly. Any excursions were planned at request with fair charges and included transportation. The WiFi and A/C worked very well. We had a walk out onto the beach room and it was the best choice! The beach in front of the property had minimal interruptions from beach boys selling items. The atmosphere was very quiet, classy, and elegant. I did not want to leave!!
