We chose the Premier Spa Backwater view suite and the stay was amazing. The food at their restaurants is also worth mentioning. Very helpful and humble staff. Lot of activities to spend time on. Well maintained pool and jacuzzi in the room. Overall it was a great stay!

Excellent service and warm hospitality at Lalit We really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend to visit here for family. Very warm staff who take care of you during your entire stay. Activities for kids also. We enjoyed fishing with country rod

It was an absolute treat to have stayed at The Lalit at Bekal.We went there to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The place is so calm and serene, our room was spotless and the scenery overlooking the backwaters was simply peaceful. We walked so many times towards the beach, at one point you can actually see the backwater meeting the sea. This spot was magical, you can smell the sea, hear the waves and watch the calm river. My 5 year old son loved swimming in the pool as they had many floaties and he swam a bunch of times throughout our trip. We Your staff is the best, epically Priyakhi who my son adores. She was so kind and thoughtful and a special shout-out to Soham. The food was good and we had our lunch , dinners at the property itself as we didn’t want to leave. Thanks guys, my son has already made plans to celebrate his 6th Bday there in December. Thanks for the cake and the balloons that you’ll set up in our room. These small gestures made our stay super special. One small drawback, please ensure there’s hot water in the jacuzzi , it rained so it was very cold. Overall full 5 stars to you guys

Extremely efficient service by staff especially Vedant, Vignesh,Pariyaki and Joy ...Great cleanliness and tasty food..The chef is extremely delicious and very good vegetarian taste.Kids meal taken care of very nicely..Fast Service..Good and clean rooms..

We had one of our most memorable holiday at The Lalit Bekal. We were there for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed all facilities of the resort. Despite reaching at 8 a.m. the hotel gave us an early check - in which was a blessing as we could catch up on some sleep! The property is petite with most of the rooms located on the periphery of the artificial lagoon. We were in the Lagoon View Room which is large with a king size bed and lots of space around it. They have walk in wardrobes and a huge bath room with a private jacuzzi!!! Our room was on the ground floor hence it had a sit out area from where one could see the expanse of the resort. While the layout of the resort is quite compact, there's a massive area behind it, skirting the river Nombili. There's a nice walkway which takes you to a bridge across the river leading up the the Arabian Sea. The beach is a bit narrow but long enough for you to walk comfortably. Given the rainy season the sea was quite rough & we didn't venture into it. The swimming pool is quite big and very well maintained. They have a game room which has Snooker and few other board games. Now for a few highlights They only have 1 restaurant called Nombili - named after the river. It's a multi cuisine restaurant with a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. As the resort had less occupancy they were serving the A La Carte menu. First let me tell you about the Main host of the restaurant. Priya Akhi hails from Assam and used to be there through the day. She was warm, had a welcoming smile & served all guests with great enthusiasm & aplomb! She used to suggest the best dishes of the restaurant and her choice was always perfect. We had 8 meals in that restaurant but never repeated a single dish thanks to Priya! She is an asset to the hotel!!! I have to mention here the Executive Chef - Laneesh. Whenever he was in the restaurant he used to mingle with all the guests and take their feedback on the food. We too had some engrossing conversations with Laneesh on recipes & his experiences in his career. For one of the lunches, I requested Laneesh to design a pure South Indian menu for us. He suggested Pineapple Rasam, Cabbage Poriyal, Malabar Paratha & Payasam. Each dish was lip smacking and we were near full when he walked in with his team to serve us the Payasam in the traditional Kerala way. A plantain leaf was placed in front of me & my wife. He poured the Payasam, then asked us to crush some applam and a banana into it. Once we had done that he topped this up with pure ghee and then asked us to eat with our hands. With a great reluctance (because we hadn't eaten such a "concotion" ever) we started eating and then we just couldn't stop. The sweetness of the Payasam & Banana blended with the salty applam coupled with the fragrance of ghee translated into what was the best payasam I had ever eaten - and perhaps would ever eat - in my life. We finished the two bowls of payasam in no time and could have gone of to sleep at that

Excellent property by Lalit ! Enjoyed the stay with friends and it was a great experience. Staff is super efficient friendly curtious . Each room was facing backwaters and was incredibly scenic.I visited with my 6 couple friends and everyone was very impressed with this resort
