Sandpiper Villas, Chobe is a great place to stay for those who like the accessibility to Chobe National Park, airport, and small shopping center that has Nandos Restaurant, Bank of Gabarone ( where you can exchange money), shop rite ( for groceries) and TLou tours . The lodge shares an entrance with TLou Lodge. We stayed for 4 nights at a 2 bedroom villa with nice river views and are equipped with a ref, utensils, and grill for cooking. The rooms are well maintained and cleaned daily. The bathroom has a rain shower, and the bed is comfortable. There's also a safe in the main room,but ours wasn't working. We have daily breakfast, which is ample and delicious. We were picked up and dropped off from the airport, which is a complimentary service provided by the hotel. The driver is Andrew, who met us at the airport, who does everything from game drives and river cruises. Andrew provided us with excellent service. He's truly a workhorse and an asset to this establishment. The front desk comprises Dintle, Oneill, and Todd, the manager, who is always ready to help. Housekeeping ladies like Flora, Sego, and the rest kept our rooms cleaned daily. They also do laundry for BWP 100 for 1 bag. The Boma staff where we have breakfast daily are equally fantastic, always serving us with a smile.Namely, Chef Gee and Joyce, and Oarabile. To everyone, at Sandpiper Villas, a great big thank you! You are all awesome and made our vacation memorable and unforgettable. The hardest part is leaving as they all become our African family. Hope to see you again someday. So, for those trying to decide where to stay, try Sandpioer Villas. It is the best place to stay in Chobe.

Die Anlage ist modern und etwas seelenlos. Geräumiges Zimmer mit Terasse, Stück Rasen, Blick auf eine Mauer. Voll eingerichtete Kochmöglichkeiten, die wir nutzen, denn das (schon bezahlte) Dinner ist schwach. Safe nicht bedienbar, wir bekommen einen neuen. W-lan im Zimmer launisch. Game-Drive und Boat-Trip sehr gut, dank Guide Andrew. Allerdings bekommen wir mit Leitungswasser wiederaufgefüllte Wasserflaschen angeboten (!). Andere Getränke möge man sich selbst besorgen. Auch erstaunt uns, dass wir im Voraus zahlen sollen, das hatten wir in 5 Wochen Namibia noch nicht. Beim Checkout verlangt man noch Geld, weil unsre Reiseagentur angeblich zu wenig fürs Dinner bezahlt hätte. Es waren zwei Essen bezahlt, wir haben nur eins in Anspruch genommen. Das Frühstück ist mehr als dürftig, für Kaffee sollte man extra bezahlen. Alles in Allem wirkt diese Unterkunft sowohl unprofessionell als auch insolvenzgefährdet. Ausser uns war nur noch ein weiteres Paar hier.

Once in a lifetime.
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation. It is extremely good value for money and the perfect base for exploring the wonders of the Chobe. The two boat trips with Joe on the river were once in a lifetime experiences.

Toller Aufenthalt - sauberer und gepflegter Bungalow - super nettes Personal, gute Küche!
Ausflüge zu den Vic-Falls und Safaris mit Auto (früh Morgens) und abends mit dem Boot wurden top organisiert! Nur zu empfehlen!!!

Absoutely fantastic Stay. Second time we have stayed there in three months, Rooms are so spacious and clean. Staff are just wonderful and so flexible and friendly Definately our happy place and home from home and will be back!

I would certainly recommend Sandpiper Villas Chobe. The staff is friendly and helpful the rooms are really nice, food is good, location is convenient.
