One of the best hotel I have stayed in Japan recently. The hotel is new and everything is sparkling clean. Rooms are big and comes with luxury perks usually found in 5 stars hotel like L'Occitane toiletries, 60 inch LED TV, manicure sets (free), ice cubes in pre-packed, etc and not to mention the 2 private onsen (need to reserve online). For the price point, this is a steal. It is walking distance to main shopping street though most shops are closed by 5=6pm. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel surpassed our expectations. Clean modern room, thoughtful in design & provisions. First hotel we stayed at that offers a curling iron & straightener in addition to a hair dryer! Loved how they provided a charging cable too, very thoughtful room amenities.  Staff spoke good English at reception & restaurant was priced v competitively. Bed was big & comfortable & room a great size. Thank you. Looking forward to our next visit to Karuizawa and will stay here again!

The hotel exceeded expectations. The room was quite big and they also gave me a coupon for dinner. The hotel was warm and comfortable. The disposable items were very thoughtful. The nearby forest was beautiful and it was comfortable to take a walk. Don't take the path by the river at night. There is no light at all and it is a bit scary how dark it is. It's 1,100 yen and 5 minutes to take a taxi from the JR station. It's very convenient.

The location is super good, right next to the old Karuizawa shopping street, next to the famous shrine and wooden church! You can also book a 45-minute free private bath, which is super value

You need to drive to get there, but the appearance is very beautiful, the inside is like a gallery, and the restaurant is also very beautiful. Because there are many works of art, children are not allowed. You can also order your own hot spring bath. It's a large room that only two people can use, so it's very comfortable. Highly recommended to self-driving friends.

The hotel is located in Kyu-Karuizawa, in a quiet grove, with a great environment! The most ordinary room is 30 square meters, which is a big surprise in Japan. The room is very clean, the toiletries are L'Occitane, and there are travel-sized basic skin care products, which are very good! The only drawback is that the girl at the front desk may not speak English well. For example, there is a shuttle bus to the station at 10/11 o'clock, but she did not take the initiative to inform the guests when they checked out at 10 o'clock ~ service points deducted

A hotel that exceeded expectations! The room and bathroom are large, with a small balcony. The toiletries are also great, with a hair dryer and curling iron. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious and worth a try. The staff lady's English is also very good, and communication is barrier-free. If I have to pick out a flaw, it is that the ventilation fan in the room is a bit noisy, and I have to turn it off when I sleep at night. However, the flaws do not outweigh the merits. This is definitely a small and beautiful treasure hotel. I would like to stay again next time I come to Karuizawa. I strongly recommend it!

I booked this hotel based on the recommendation, but it was not the same hotel as the recommended pictures. Although the hotel environment was pretty good, the front desk didn't speak English very well, but we were able to communicate normally with the help of translation software. Picture 1 was the recommendation I saw online, but it was actually the back picture. Check-in and guest rooms were in two different buildings. I asked the staff, and Picture 1 seemed to be a hotel in London, but I didn't verify it.

Be careful when booking this room. I was fooled by the 2800 mid-range room. There is no breakfast or dinner included. It is not comparable to the hotel in Nagano Hakuba, which is also a resort. First of all, the hotel refused to receive my parcel (it was not until I arrived after communicating for a long time). Secondly, I took a taxi to check in. The shuttle bus time was not specified on the Ctrip website. There were not many people when I checked in, and there were not many tourists. I was also informed that I could check in at 15:00. When I checked in, the front desk bar attendant only opened the door for me and did not help me carry the suitcase. He looked very calm. I went back to book a shuttle bus to the platform. The attendant was also reluctant and refused to be polite. The girl at the front desk was gentle and polite, but she didn't tell you anything when you checked in. She didn't say anything when the car came. The driver was sitting in the car outside. We had to ask if it was a shuttle bus. The room setting was unreasonable. The towels were found in the cabinet after searching for a while. At this price, it is better to book Hoshino. The store with such perfunctory service is too bad.

Booked for 2 nights. This hotel is extremely beautiful, very European-style (but there is no elevator, so it will be troublesome if you have a lot of luggage). The room is very large, and it also provides a lot of supplies (such as nail clippers, straightening/curling irons, etc.). 4000 yen is given as a gift when you check in. 😍, it can be used in hotel restaurants or shops. We had dinner in the restaurant and only needed to top up 1350 yen. It was so exciting! 🤣 It takes half an hour to walk from the hotel to the outlet. It's a straight road and it's not difficult to walk. Nearby is Old Karuizawa, where there are many small shops and restaurants.
