Here's a breakdown of our stay: Pros: Unbeatable location: Steps away from Piazza San Marco and a convenient ferry station. Grand Canal View rooms: Worth every penny, offering stunning vistas of the canal, gondola station, and the Church of Santa Maria della Salute Attentive service: Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions. Unique Murano experience: The hotel's partnership with a Murano glass factory, including private boat transport, was a highlight. It offered an intimate look at the glass-making process, though there's a soft expectation to purchase souvenirs. Decor: The hotel's Venetian style is more modern and appealing in person than online photos suggest. Cons: Breakfast: While the view from the breakfast area is spectacular, the selection is limited, and some equipment (like toasters) weren't functioning properly. Noise: Proximity to the ferry station means some noise can be heard until around midnight. Overall, our stay at Monaco & Grand Canal Venice was thoroughly enjoyable. The hotel's prime location, stunning views, and unique experiences more than compensate for the minor drawbacks. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking an authentic, luxurious Venetian experience.

Very perfect stay with everything prepared. It’s better to take water Texi to the hotel from the station. It has a private port and once you arrive in the hotel. They have immediately a gentleman to help you with the luggage. 5star service worth the price. Best location mins walking to everything.

Very nice room and service. Not comfortable by modern standards. but that is the feel you are paying for. Very convenient location . But the link with the glass factory is abit questionable..

This hotel was perfect… The hotel looks older from the outside, yet it was completely refurbished inside. Amenities are very premium, almost like in a St Regis. Founded in 1638, and 2 mins from water bus station. You won’t regret this stay. Breakfast is pretty good too for Europe.

the hotel is in a perfect location right next to san marco sq and the drop off point of many water boats. the room was a “golden leaf superior”, big n beautiful with great shower n toilets. the breakfast (not included) was ok but the terrace on which u ate it, made up for any lack in diversity on the buffet side. the view is spectacular. room was clean, sheets were crisp, staff was nice. the Trip.com rate was what made this affordable, as this room usually goes for much more. still wasn’t cheap but considering the crazy hotel prices in Venice, it was a good deal for a 4 night stay that was packed with activities that made a central location with easy access to everything important.

Amazing location, central to all tourist sites and superb shopping all around, unbeatable in all ways. Rooms newly renovated so excellent in room facilities. Pricing was also very reasonable for location. Right beside some of the best views and regardless the room, I’m sure you’ll accept this is the best value hotel in the area. Only disappointment was the bar. Ordered a drink for my wife and I, was charged triple what other exceptional bars outside would charge, the drink looked and tasted like to was made by a child. Quite disappointed with this. Also one needs to really be patient with staff, they seem to be more caught up with talking amongst themselves and their reaction to other guests reflect poor training. Rolling of eyes and other expressions are quite unprofessional. But they don’t ruin the stay, the can’t with such a beautiful location! Bell Boys very helpful and hardworking, maybe the rest of the team should learn from their colleagues. Anyway, I would recommend this hotel anytime to anyone!

To be honest, the hotel is in a very good location. It is next to Piazza San Marco and the pier, and it is convenient to get on and off the boat. We took the water bus directly from the train station, and then took the boat to the airport at the water bus station. After coming here, I know that it is very convenient to book a hotel near the pier. The water bus has a board to facilitate the luggage to get on and off the boat. The room of this hotel is very small, hahahaha, it is the smallest room in this European trip. The room layout is also very rustic, the facilities are average, and the breakfast is even more average, especially the breakfast is not allowed to use the outdoor dining area. In fact, I booked this hotel for the view of the outdoor dining area. The outdoor dining area is only open at lunch, showing the shrewdness of the Venetian merchants, hahahaha. I am still very satisfied with the service of the hotel. After arriving at the store, they promptly told us that there is a free boat to Burano Island from 9:00 to 15:00 every day, and the ticket boarding pass was also printed for me in time. Magnificent hotel with attentive and very professional staff.

The location is OK and very convenient. The breakfast view is good and you can sit by the river. There is no drinking water in the room. When I asked the front desk, they didn't give it to us and asked us to drink tap water. I was a little speechless. I probably won't choose this next time.

The hotel is great. The rooms are both retro and luxurious, very European. The bathroom is super big, and all the facilities in the room are very satisfactory. The hotel also provides a kettle, which you can ask for if you need it. The location of the hotel is very good, right next to the square. If you take a water taxi or a water bus, you can go directly there, without having to carry your luggage through the streets. It is very convenient to have all the major luxury brands downstairs. It is a rare hotel that is very satisfactory in all aspects.

This hotel is right by the river, upscale, warm and comfortable. The restaurant has a unique view, close to the pier, and you can see many gondolas, churches, and bell towers in the distance. The breakfast is very rich and delicious, and the room is clean. There is plenty of water and bright lights. It is a very good location on the island. There are luxury shops downstairs, which is safe. It would be better if the mini bar is free! I like your smiling service and thoughtful luggage storage. Finally, when we checked out, you gave us the specific time of the ferry to the airport, which was very thoughtful. I will come again next time! I will come again next time!
