Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karpacz ★★★★★
"A new and modern hotel with a large number of rooms. The indoor and outdoor pools were particularly positive, both being clean and well-maintained. Overall, the entire hotel made a very neat and stylish impression. However, breakfast and dinner weren't quite to our liking. Some of the dishes seemed a bit too heavy and didn't completely satisfy us. The children's area also didn't really impress us. We would have liked a bit more variety and better options for families. Overall, though, a nice, modern hotel with good facilities."
Hotel Mercure Karpacz Skalny ★★★
"The well-located hotel with many facilities. Pool and sauna, children's zone, Ping pong, footballers - it's on plus. There was also a nice live music in the evening - you played beautifully on the violin. Services at the bar are less kind but they had a boiler so maybe that's why."
Sandra Spa Karpacz & Aquapark ★★★
"The hotel complex is quite quiet, but in the lowest part of the village. The ski lifts are several kilometers away, so a car is essential. And this is where the first dilemma of this trip arose for us: There are far too few parking spaces at the lifts, at least on days with a large influx of visitors, and the resort is generally not recommended for holidays. We were there around New Year's Eve (December 29th - January 3rd), and traffic in the town center was almost exclusively stop-and-go. In the evening, incredible numbers of people milled along the small central boulevard, as if at a mass demonstration. The snow and slope conditions were, by the way, very satisfactory, as we discovered the one time we found a parking space. The online photos of the hotel give the impression of medium size. Make no mistake, it is clearly one of the larger, sprawling hotels, and the room location is therefore problematic: On one side of the elongated U-shaped building, you have the shortest route to the garage and wellness elevator, while on the other, the quicker route to the dining room. Our pedometer thus recorded impressive data even while moving around the hotel. The hotel has a fairly spacious wellness area, including a large swimming pool (25 m?), which was pleasantly unoccupied in the afternoon. There are actually plenty of parking spaces on the hotel grounds, but on busy days, there are still not enough. We recommend booking one of the basement garage spaces in advance, although they may seem expensive at first glance, they also ensure convenient, weather-protected loading and unloading. The price of €233/night for a double room raised some expectations. The room (we had 314) was basically fine at first; the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at night, even with the window open. For a similar price, however, we've had more comfortable accommodations, perhaps in hotels near German spas. The looming need for renovation was evident, among other things, in the fact that one of the armchairs had a ten-centimeter-long slit in the (already worn-looking) upholstery. Immediate complaints proved ineffective. The bathroom facilities were rather plain, with far too little storage space for cosmetics, etc., and soap/gels were extremely scarce and cheap. The assessment of the staff is also mixed. The apparent lack of knowledge (or acceptance) of German seems to be a newly rekindled rite in former Silesia (after the years of PIS rule?). Unfortunately, even at reception, I encountered the hurdle all too often of my fluent English being too limited: only "Polska..." was possible. The staff also seemed a bit annoyed and not always friendly. We had booked half board. The food on offer both morning and evening was plentiful, almost lavish."
Osada Śnieżka koło Karpacza ★★★★
"If you want to experience discotheque - go ahead. Sunday morning extremly noisy water sports. No feeling for people who want to live in a quiet village. Please try to find another vacation place or stick to quietness. Initiatiwa cicha lomnica"
Tremonti Hotel Karpacz ★★★★
"The Tremonti is a truly beautiful and relatively new hotel complex on the outskirts of Karpacz. Restaurants, shops, etc. are in the immediate vicinity. The hotel complex consists of several buildings, all connected underground. Very practical if, for example, you're visiting the sauna and a thunderstorm is brewing when you want to get back to your room! The rooms are large, modern, and comfortably furnished. As I always do with my hotel reviews, I'll divide them into pluses and minuses. Here are the positive aspects of the Tremonti: + The breakfast is truly sensational! Sooooo much choice and everything is delicious! There's even a popcorn machine. I was particularly impressed by the two waffle irons. Usually, there's always some kind of mess when it comes to "making" waffles, but here at the Tremonti, it's perfectly solved! Great, fantastic 👏 Furthermore, the buffet always looked immaculate 👍 + There's a powerful hairdryer in the bathroom. + The towels are actually only changed if you put the "dirty" ones on the floor 👍 + There are two bottles of shampoo and shower gel in the shower + The hotel is very clean! Except for that, but that's the downside + Large room with a large double bed, comfortable mattress, and two pillows to choose from + Small kitchenette (no stove) in the room with a small refrigerator + Bathrobes and slippers are provided, and there are even bathrobes for children 👍 + Towels can be borrowed at any time in the sauna area + Whether it's necessary or not 🤷🏼♀️, but there is a lifeguard at the pool all day. In the evening, when the outdoor pool is covered, the lifeguard goes to the indoor pool and continues his job there. + Bar by the outdoor pool for meals and drinks + Everything is very clean in the sauna and pool area + Garage available. For skis in winter and with lockable lockers. For bicycles in summer - Even though we didn't use it, the hotel offers a lot. Childcare/entertainment, theme nights, and, and, and. Now my negative points: - The lock on the bicycle garage wasn't working properly. The other guests and we had to get help every time. It was finally repaired on the third day. - Although we had two balconies, like every room, there was no place to hang laundry outside. This could definitely be improved! It doesn't make a good impression for such a beautiful hotel complex when towels, swimwear, etc. are hanging over the balcony railing to dry. - There are no towel hooks in the bathroom. There is a small towel warmer, but it's far too small for four towels for two people. Plus, there might be bathrobes. - Unfortunately, there is no vanity mirror. Since the lighting in the bathroom is a bit dim, it would have been an advantage. - Very limited storage space in the bathroom. For small travel-sized items, it's just about big enough for a perfume bottle or a can of hairspray."
Alpejski Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"I spent 5 great days here in this wonderful hotel. From the interior through the wellness offer to service ...es everything was perfect. The restaurant is absolutely comfortable furnished and there are high quality foods. This must be a time in a Karpacz holiday. Breakfast does not open any wishes. The wellness area with a Finnish sauna (15-21Uhr)with the beautiful swimming pool(9-21Uhr) is also recommended. Also a blockhouse sauna (16-21Uhr) is waiting for visit. Beautiful resting places in a separate room are also available. All in all, a really very beautiful hotel in which you feel well immediately! A short word to the rooms...very tastefully furnished in the Alpine style. In the beds it sleeps heavenly at optimal mattresses. The view from the balcony is also great. The hotel is therefore fully recommended and is only 800m to the city centre!"
Hotel Relaks Wellness & Spa ★★★
"Hotel where we recently stayed for a week. Small dark room with sloping walls in the roof. You have everything you need, but a few things could be better. Worn out mattresses, TV that is much too small with no foreign channels. So the room could use an update. Bad smell in the spa area, lack of ventilation? Too loud music in the sauna itself, not relaxing. Food top quality, breakfast and dinner, very tasty. Bar ok. Friendly staff in the bar, restaurant and wellness, unfortunately a smile is missing at reception. Customer friendliness could also be improved, for example we were obliged to pay immediately upon arrival. Payment in cash the next day was not allowed. Since we arrived on a Sunday, we had not yet exchanged cash. The first night had already been paid in advance. So everything had to be arranged immediately with the credit card, which meant we had additional exchange costs. They also try to pay for the credit card in Euro at their own poor exchange rate instead of in PLN. Fortunately, we now know the tricks through years of travel experience :-)"

Green Mountain 5* Hotel ★★★★★
"It's not a 5 star hotel. It's too expensive for what it is offering. The only positive thing was a breakfast. The rest is so so. Because of the many cars parked in front of the buildings seem very chaotic, the apartment was very basic, the area outside the hotel also."

"I stayed four nights with friends in two similar apartments. Each had a downstairs bedroom with a large bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a living area with a well-equipped kitchen; upstairs was a second bedroom with two single beds. There is also an extra sofa for the fifth person. The kitchens were well stocked, though the exact items varied between apartments, which is handy if you have access to both. The apartments are slightly outside the centre—about a 20-minute hilly walk without a car—but a convenience store is just 100 meters away."
