Excellent. Hotel was in a great location, clean, staff was helpful and courteous. Room was spacious with balcony, which was very nice. Breakfast spread was also very nice (selection and amount). We were really impressed with the value of the stay here. We did opt to pay extra for the included dinner, which was well worth it. I would rate the dinner 3.5 to 4 out of 5.
This is a 160 year old hotel, so expect things to be dated. However the keep it in good shape so that adds to the charm. You will not be disappointed here. I only wish the shower was a bit bigger…other than that, I thought it was great!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Romance, perfectly located in the heart of Karlovy Vary. The rooms were a little dated but very charming and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff at breakfast could have been a bit more welcoming, but this was only a minor point and didn’t affect our overall experience. Overall, a lovely hotel in a fantastic location — we would happily stay here again!

Superb location, breakfast was fantastic (great choice for vegetarians). Staff super friendly and the hotel is very well maintained. Rooms are gorgeous. Good value for money and quiet at night (we had a room towards the back of the hotel although the area is generally quiet at night)

Amazing city, very nice and clean hotel, kind and helpful staff, great food, parking for cars - if needed, there is a free transfer to/from parking slots by hotel
