"We stayed at the Royal DenizKizi Hotel. Some confusion when booking as we thought we had booked the DenizKizi. So pleased we stayed in the Royal as it has balconies, the DenizKizi only have Juliette Balconies. Guests just sleep at the Royal and use all facilities at the DenizKizi. Two minutes walk away. The grounds are very pretty. Both Hotels are exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Our room and bathroom were modern and spacious. We were on a half board basis and enjoyed the breakfast and found the dinner although not a huge choice was always hot and tasty. We cannot fault the staff who were always helpful and polite. The pool was lovely and towels are provided. Whilst we were there a splash fun pool was built for the children. Beach bay location was beautiful, clean beach and clear sea. I guess in the high season the Hotel pool and beach would be crowded as it is open for day guests who pay for the facilities and the weekends were quite busy. Whilst we were there from mid June to beginning July we never had an issue with sunbeds. The Hotels are just a short walk to the main road where buses regularly run to Kyrenia and Lapta. We are out quite a lot as there are so many different restaurants in both areas. I would certainly recommend this Hotel and will definitely re-visit. We booked our holiday through Cyprus Paradise which includes free transfers to and from Larnaca Airport. We have used this Company before and can highly recommend them."

"This is our go-to place for accommodation. The restaurant is quite good. You can have a pleasant time by the pool. Room cleanliness and hygiene are excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive."

"Absolutely incredible. One of the finest hotels on the planet. And I have been around the planet. Beautiful lobby, reception, pastry bar, and service, and a great casino. The standard room was as nice as any I have stayed in. Incredible amenities provide complimentary including welcome pastries, bath amenities and in-room amenities. Other five star casinos have much to learn from the Merit Royal Diamond."

"They’re really ******. They don’t like people of color, especially Black people. They’ll attend to other Turkish/white guests before they attend to a black person. All my friends had a terrible experience, they gave our reservations out and did not give us a valid reason. Each time we tried to go in person to reserve again they don’t attend to us. It’s really sad how they profile people."

"What a fabulous find. Superb swimming pool and pool bar. Toasted sandwiches at lunchtime were amazing. It's not a 5 star place BUT a great base to explore the area. No getting up early for sunbeds, most days we had the pool to ourselves! Ali, the owner always went above and beyond to make our stay a fabulous one! "
