Hot water is not there

Very bad experience and unhygienic surrounding and drainage smell coming from outside, toilets not clean

This is strictly a lodge! We rediscovered this during our second stay at this place after fourteen years. Nothing has changed! Checkin was delayed by 45m. Towel and soaps were not given till 2h after checkin. Hot water isn't available 24h. It was delivered in a dirty looking bucket after 4h of asking.Even cold water in bathroom wasn't available on one of the days. Mosquito nets are torn, the gap between the windows and frames is so much that mosquitoes can walk in to the room. Cupboards smell of pesticide. There is no intercom to reach the reception. The pillows were terribly stained, we had to ask for changing 3 of them. The list is unending. We saw hordes of train passengers checking in at all times so I'm sure this review won't bother the management into making any improvements but the hope is no one gets fooled into believing this is value for money. It probably is, if rooms are priced around 1000, but not more.

We were planning for south india tour.. and after my wife searched numerous hotels for the beach nearby with a pocket friendly stay ..we came to discover New cape hotel. and booked it through MMT. Hotel is just opposite to Kanyakumari Railway station with 2 min walk. we came from nager coil town station via auto (Rs500) it took 40 min. to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay .. I and my mother especially loved the cleanliness of the hotel, bed ,linen, and bathroom. All basic attraction points were within walking distance. 600-700m beach. you can take auto as well for Rs60. For food, you have not much variety, but it is good. I especially liked the rasam.

We booked non ac room and it was just decent. Location is very great, close to market, restaurant and right infront of railway station. Beach is just 700m. Ample parking space too. It was overall a decent stay. Staff is also very supp-or and friendly

Nice nature of owner, very helpful, great view of sunrise and walkable distance from railway station and other tourist places.

Excellent manager and staff always ready to help. Tasty breakfast. Clean rooms. Very convent hotel. A pleasant stay at the hotel. Rating 10 /10

Nice stay, hotel is very near to rely stn, provided me checkin at 05:00 am with extra charge for that, then also it was a great thing for me. Terrace is accessible you can dry clothes after coming from beach. Friendly and polite staff. Walkable distance from beach. Only draw point no restaurant but they will provide you lunch dinner in room if ordered

Drinking water facility or water filter should be there for visitors. Proper door locking system should be there.
