It's so cool to have a morning cup of coffee sitting on the balcony. The apartment has a wonderful view of the river. In general, there are an amazing location of the apartments, about 3 min walk to ferryboat. The pedestrian bridge is also not far away. The apartment big and clear in in excellent condition. Check-in (out) are very quick. I like and recommended these appartments.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment was shabby needing painting, new flooring and refresh. Was spacious with 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Great view from 11th floor balcony of river and marina. A convenience store opposite and a short walk to restaurants, bar, bottlestore and Kangaroo Pt bridge. Loop bus on city side of bridge made getting around easy. Overall, despite the state of the apartment, the staff, quiet location and easy access to city centre make Dockside a good place to stay

I would strongly advise against staying here unless you’re okay with extremely unpleasant odours throughout the property. From the moment I walked in, there was a heavy, offensive smell that lingered everywhere — in the hallways, lifts, and even inside the room. It genuinely smelt like something that should be banned. The odour seemed to come from people cooking strong food (possibly Chinese food) inside the apartments, and the entire building ventilation does nothing to filter it out. Even with the windows open and air conditioner on, it was unbearable. This made what could have been a decent stay completely unpleasant. For a hotel environment, this level of smell and lack of air quality control is unacceptable. I checked out early and would not recommend this place until management properly addresses the source of the issue.

A fancy facade but that’s where it stops. Once we got to our room we were greeted with a dirty worn out room. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long with questionable residue on the floor and the kitchen area was filthy. Pool area was closed, the bar and cafe were closed. Would have been nice to know prior. I don’t like leaving poor reviews but I think this is warranted.
View of the river was nice and the ferry stops right out the front. I was called before check in and walked through the check in process which I appreciated however when I raised concerns with reception about the state of the room there was little concern. Wasn’t the best choice of venue for our anniversary weekend unfortunately.

5th stay there over the last 5 years. The town square precinct is a shadow of its former self….Asian Spice closed, bottle shop closed etc. Accomodation was fine but the rooms are starting to show their age (wall chips, cracks etc). Facilities/amenities all there, Bed was one of the more very firm one I have slept in during many travels. Overall very ok

Our weekend getaway was great. The hotel was lovely and quiet and very clean. My only issues was there was no plug for me to relax in the bath and the unit next to us were smokers and the smell wafted into the hall and we couldn't have our balcony door open.
