The location is good, on the side of the street, convenient for eating, but the room is average, the bathroom facilities are average, the bath water is not too hot, the spray cannot be hung, and needs to be held by hand. A good budget hotel located in the center of Kandy, easy to get to all locations on foot: railway, attractions, market.
Suitable for a stopover for a couple of nights.
Very friendly and polite staff.
My room had all new plumbing. The renovation in the bedroom is not new.
The downside is that there is a slight smell of dampness in the bedroom.

Pros: - Superb location, very near the city center and many tourist spots. Near the Tooth Relic Temple and the Central Market. Within reasonable distance of the Kandy Railway Station - Solo rooms are very affordable - Rooms appear clean, have amenities, and the AC works perfectly! - Wifi works decently - Has its own restaurant; they serve good and reasonably-priced Sri Lankan and intercontinental food - Staff is accommodating, accessible, and knowledgeable Cons: - As what other people have mentioned, the steep stairs to the lobby is a bit of a challenge when carrying heavy bags or for people with mobility problems - The hotel has a curfew, so if you arrive around 11, they will shut the gates of the hotel so you need to call the staff (I arrived late from a day tour once and learned about this)
