I truly recommend this place that possesses a spectacular view and warm hospitality. I caught this place from TripAdvisor and I was delighted with the first phone call which I made to check the availability. He was a really nice guy but um really sorry I couldn't get his name properly. I was very excited to step into Devon rest since that was the coolest room reservation, I have ever made. Once we stepped into Devon, we were truly delighted with the view and their warm welcome. As we arrived there after a long train journey with my one year old baby, they were allowed to check in early. Devon is walking distance to all the other important landmarks (Temple of Tooth Relic, KCC, Cargills food city, Railway station) too. The room was spacious with nice amenities and super comfy bed and pillows. The room and bathroom were clean. We got a lake view room upon our request and I really appreciate the staff since they are very friendly and always there to support. Our favourite dish was Sri Lankan rice and curry and all the food we had there was mouthwatering. My one year old baby was also had their Sri Lankan rice and curry and they didn't think twice to customize the curries as we wanted. Shashitha and Rathnasiri, thank you very much for the support you guys gave thorough out our stay at Devon. You both were simply amazing and we really appreciate you both since your hospitality is exceptional. Though we have visited many five star hotels in Sri Lanka, I would like to say that this is the warmest welcome and hospitality we ever received.

Tipik Asya hotelleri olarak bakmıştım ilk başlarda ama otele geldiğimde harika derecede oda ve harika temizlik vardı. Son zamanlarda kaldığım en güzel otellerden. Personel zaten çok ilgili. Restorantı ise gerçekten denenmeye değer.

La chambre est propre et grande ,petit dej excellent et très bon emplacement mais 0 pointé pour le reste . Management 0 , ils ne parlent que d'argent tout le temps . A peine arrivée on m'a demandé de payer le 1er matin alors que j'étais là pour 3 nuits . Pourquoi ne pas tout mettre sur la note et payer comme partout, le jour du check out .Exemple ils sont même venus frapper a ma chambre pour que je paie la bouteille du Petit dej . Le lendemain rebelote alors que je dormais ils sont venus frapper plusieurs fois . Sans même s'excuser . J'ai l'impression d'être un porte monnaie . Pour le même prix vous aurez un meilleurs service ailleurs. Petit détail l'hôtel est presque vide . c'est comme cela que l'on traite les rares clients.

We spent one night at the hotel. The room was very nice with a lovely view of the lake. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating when we asked for a late breakfast after some early morning sightseeing. Breakfast was also excellent as well.

We went to the restaurant for a birthday celebration and the service was really good, they helped us arrange the suprise and was very friendly. The atmosphere is very ambient with a 10/10 view of the Kandy lake. The food was really delicious too. Overall a perfect spot, will definitely come again!

Had an unforgettable birthday celebration at this cafe! The food was exceptional, the staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, and the calm, inviting atmosphere made it truly special. Highly recommended for any memorable occasion! Food 10/10 service 11/10 atmosphere 10/10

Allora Devon rest in generale in tutti aspetti dei servizzi erano 5 stelle lo staff amichevole porfessionale cheff Gimhani veramente molto brava la cucina eccelente ... lo invito tutti a pravore questo location e la cucina 5 stelle mi riesci scrivere una recensione con 200 lettere La mia esperienza al ristorante Devon è stata eccezionale. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con uno staff amichevole e professionale. Il chef Gimhani ha deliziato il palato con piatti eccellenti, dimostrando grande maestria culinaria. Staff is very helpful and friendly specifically chef Sandeepa, restaurant supervisor Mr Kalum and the restaurant staff Sandaru and Nirvan. Food is really good and taste also enjoyed a lot. Very calm place with nice view of Kandy lake. Atmosphere is absolutly amazing
