[Devon Rest, the cutest hotel in Kandy]
The Devon Rest that I stayed at in Kandy, Sri Lanka was absolutely amazing!
It was cute, spacious, clean, stylish, and just so comfortable.
The breakfast had a wide variety of Western and Sri Lankan dishes, and was carefully presented.
The staff were also very kind, and I felt like a princess!
I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to make their hotel a part of their travel memories.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und der Ausblick vom 2. Stock in den Garten sehr fein. Die Betten herrlich bequem und groß genug. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, frisches Wasser täglich- alles da, was einen angenehmen Aufenthalt sichert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht 😊 danke an dieser Stelle an AKEELA 🙏🏼 Das Frühstück ist großartig, der Kaffee leider nicht... Preis/Leistung ist gut 👍 Empfehlen das Devon Rest gerne weiter.

We booked in for High Tea on Sunday 11 May 2025, not really knowing what to expect. We can honestly say that we were 100% satisfied with everything: Value for money - LKR 2500 per person for all you can eat buffet High Tea for 2 hours. Includes welcome juice, water, Tea and coffee. We were also able to purchase Mocktails at extra cost, and these were delicious and well priced. Staff: Went out of their way to make us feel welcome, as we were the only 2 Non Locals there (we are from Australia). A special mention to Akeela. She was absolutely delightful and checked in on us to ensure we were completely happy. I can highly recommend the food and service.

Très belle surprise lors de notre visite dans la ville de Kandy, nous sommes tombés sur ce restaurant au décor très beau et luxueux. Nous avons très bien mangé et très bien été servis par Thisantha. A noter que les mocktails étaient délicieux ! Je recommande vivement !

A very clean and comfortable hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Akeela. The location of the hotel is by the lake and the lake view is superior, I also recommend this hotel for families because of its location and cleanliness.

Such a pleasant surprise Our room was beautiful with a great view of the lake. Spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed and luxury bed linen. Great location overlooking Kandy Laje Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious restaurant food We will return for sure.
