Lovely place with spacious rooms and riverside view. We stayed for two nights and recommend this place also for the courteous owner couple. We strongly recommend to take a cooking class if you’re interested in how local food is prepared. If we’d ever return to Kandy we’d stay here again. Breakfast and dinner were great!

A beautiful homestay in Kandy, located right on the river. Booking and arrival went smoothly. We received a friendly welcome and were given a modern, bright and very clean room. The breakfast was very tasty and was served on the terrace with a beautiful direct view of the river. Loving hosts. A recommended place.

We spent 3 nights in Kandy at Chaminrich Homestay which is about 3.5 kms from central Kandy- or a ten min ride in a Tuk Tuk. We loved staying here, overlooking the river while we ate the delicious breakfasts and dinners that husband and wife team, Kanchana and Anoush served us on their terrace. So peaceful, beautiful and relaxing! Our room was spacious, spotless and as shown in the photos overlooking the river. Anoush helped with anything we needed to make our stay perfect. It’s nice to be a little bit out of central Kandy, away from the noise but close enough to dip in and out. We preferred to eat Kanchana’s delicious dinners at night than to eat in town! A memorable stay. Highly recommend.

Prachtige ligging met uitzicht op de rivier. De kamers zijn de schoonste die we tot nu toe hebben gezien in Sri Lanka. Daarnaast een prachtige badkamer met een heerlijke regendouche. De beide eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij en doen echt alles voor je. Een echte aanrader!
