Prestige Kamloops Hotel

The hotel is nicely decorated and spacious. Staff are friendly and location is good.

The washroom is quite spacious, they provide free parking.

Very disappointed, for the price you pay, the ammentities are a complete let down. All signage in pool area warn heavily there will be no lifeguard along with all the rules. The signage for the waterside states to ask the front desk for it to be turned on, as we were also told upon check-in. We were then told after check-in when requesting the slide be turned on that they will only operate it from 4-8pm. Super disappointed, it is so unnecessary, and the sole reason we booked our team here. Will never stay again and strongly advise booking elsewhere. The rooms are basic and not worthy of the nightly rate whatsoever.

Rude staff. Had issues at checkin, waterslide is only available 4-8pm. Staff in pool area argued about my son being tall enough....we had to prove it. Then....after my son went down only twice the staff member said my son "looked uncomfortable" so for safety he could no longer use the slide. NEVER AGAIN AT A PRESTIGE PROPERTY!!!

The property is nice, the room was perfectly fine, but holy cow the noise from the highway was crazy. I read reviews before booking so when I booked I requested a room that wasn't on the highway side, but of course I was given a room on the highway side, never again, I was woken at least a half dozen times from engine brakes and I can usually sleep through excessive noise no problems. They actually give you ear plugs in the room which is kinda hilarious and concerning at the same time.

Welcoming staff, felt like new hotel. I stayed 3 nights here and slept well. There was no road noise and my room was not spacious but it was a great base for me as I was on the go all day. The bathroom is spacious, and I noted the quiet self closing toilet - I wonder why all hotels don't make sure they have them. The shower was clean and comfortable with the curved shower rod all hotels should have. I enjoyed the lobby for coffee in the mornings, and filled my water bottle there regularly at the front desk where there was water, tea and coffee. I had one minor request for my room and it was quickly dealt with. Room was kept immaculate and I appreciated the flowers out front as well. The restaurant beckoned with nice smelling food but I didn't try it but based on the hum of the diners it must be good food.
