Travelodge by Wyndham Kamloops

Good for our single night stay, was clean and tidy, nothing to complain about. I would recommend if you are looking to stay in Kamloops and need somewhere to spend a night or two. For the price it was good.

Good location

My dad called the hotel and booked his first stay in his way to Vancouver island . Called same number ,to book another stay on his was back from the island , same front desk person who he had spoken to in person answered the phone and he booked his next stay . Went to cancel it as he was going to be staying in another town on his way home , and was told WE booked it through a secondary site that we’ve never even heard of so they couldn’t help and wouldn’t help . Travis the manager is the rudest person and horrible at his job. Refused to help and informed my mom it was her problem and hung up . Now we’re being told it’s been booked through yet another 3rd party when we called corporate and all the numbers lead to nowhere . So we’ve been fully charged a week before the stay was to even happen , and told we did book online through Agoda? Or some third party site which we did NOT . My dad doesn’t know how to even begin to do that . My senior parents feel completely scammed by Travelodge on Columbia st in kamloops BC. No one will help and again Travis is useless and rude . The owner should really check into how his hotel is being run and the scams they have going on. Again we DID NOT book online or an 800 number . Spoke directly to the front desk and my dad even had a conversation with the same front desk person about how the price had gone up 20 dollars in a week since his last stay . We will not ever stay in a travelodge establishment again for this reason .

Site was extremely run down, dirty, and surrounded by situations that were unsafe for my family. This hotel has no redeeming qualities. The pool is a disappointment. This accommodation was not worth the cost by far.
