I stayed overnight with a friend and had a comfortable experience. The breakfast was quite good as well. It’s a great place for a short stay—perfect for an overnight or a one- to two-day trip. While the location is a bit far from downtown, there’s ample parking available, which was very convenient.

We love going on road trips and checking out hotels along the way! However, this Super 8 in east Kamloops is a place I would highly recommend as a huge pass! Please note this is the one in east Kamloops and not the one on the hill. When we got in the room, the carpet was stained and filthy, the pillowcase was stained, there was something gross on the curtain (will not go into details) and the air-conditioner did not work. We waited for a long time for it to kick in and it did not. When leaving the room, my husband felt like the doorknob was ready to fall off. Unfortunately, the establishment needs lots of upgrades and much better cleaning practices.

Do not stay here. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The staff member did not care or offer solutions to the MANY problems that occurred.

The room was clean.
Beds were made every day of our stay.
Would stay there again.
Only con was the AC unit was right beside the bed and it was a bit loud, but better than not having it.

Definitely a 1 - 2 star property. Horrible lumpy bed, small room. Would definitely say NOT worth the $250 per night price tag!!

Kamloops Super Eight
I booked a king room and when we got hear and found I had a pet. The would only give us a room with a double bed. The first room the windows would not lock, and we had Tom move to a third room. The room is showing it age looked clean, the bed was comfortable.

Certainly not a super8 whydam hotel,no hair dryer,bathtub not clean ,ring around middle,tiny room,needs new beds,just overall not good by super8 standards.wont stay there again.checked out new super 8 even cheaper than tthis old hotel.
