Super 8 by Wyndham Kamloops East

We love going on road trips and checking out hotels along the way! However, this Super 8 in east Kamloops is a place I would highly recommend as a huge pass! Please note this is the one in east Kamloops and not the one on the hill. When we got in the room, the carpet was stained and filthy, the pillowcase was stained, there was something gross on the curtain (will not go into details) and the air-conditioner did not work. We waited for a long time for it to kick in and it did not. When leaving the room, my husband felt like the doorknob was ready to fall off. Unfortunately, the establishment needs lots of upgrades and much better cleaning practices.

Rooms are outdated and tidy but not clean. Had to change rooms due to the toilet being inoperable then had to have someone come and fix the tv in the second room we were in.

The air conditioner sounded like a jet taking off in our room, the parking was a little iffy, otherwise the room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The staff were very nice and friendly, rooms were clean and comfy beds, the outdoor pool was very clean refreshing. My husband and I spent 3 nights, we would stay here again. Breakfast was ok.

Staff was super helpful. Went above and beyond to be helpful. Stayed for 3 days and housekeeping service provided each day. Breakfast was standard motel fare but enough to get you going. Area has some unsavory characters but thats pretty all of Kamloops now. I would stay here again. Again staff was amazing!
