Holiday Inn Express Kamloops

Even if every other hotel in Kamloops is sold out, sleep in your car before you book a room here. As a franchise, Holiday Inn corporate cannot help you with issues until after you check out, leaving you at the mercy of a shockingly unprofessional management team. The problems stem directly from the General Manager, Narender, who is completely unfit for the role. False Accusation & Potential Scam: We were falsely accused of smoking and threatened with a $300 fine via an unofficial note. I suspect staff may be smoking in rooms and blaming guests to collect fines, as our room smelled strongly of cigarettes when I returned. Aggressive & Unaccountable Management: When I tried to resolve the issue, the GM was defensive, talked over me, and threatened to cancel our reservation. He later claimed he had "no control" over which housekeepers enter guest rooms, a stunning admission of incompetence. Broken Promises & Breach of Trust: After losing trust in our housekeeper, the front desk assured me twice that she would not service our room again. The very next day, she was the one in our room. This is a massive service failure and breach of trust. Hostile & Untrained Staff: The GM admitted his staff isn't trained to differentiate unburnt and burnt smells, yet used their "suspicion" as a basis for a fine. The housekeeper involved escalated the situation by confronting me with, "What do you have to hide?" This hotel is a liability. The management is inept, the customer service is nonexistent, and the potential for being scammed is high. Avoid this location at all costs.

Loved this hotel. Really convenient to the airport and very well run. Our bedroom was large and the two beds were of a good size and very comfortable. Everything spotless and the bathroom and toiletries excellent. Surprisingly good food in their own restaurant and plenty of it. Great stay and would highly recommend this efficiently run hotel.

The best suite in Kamloops! From the comfortable bed to the tub for 2 its decor and layout is really pretty. I have been to every jaq suite in town and this is by far the best. Customer Service was great and staff was helpful. .Cant wait to staycation again.

Mhhhhhm pancakes the have a pancke machine, wall, pillow, bed, roof, food, computer, lights, pool pool pool its a good hotel i dont know what else to say cause i have to type 200 characters welp only 45 to go so how was ure day this is really funny yay i have enough characters tata now

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We paid almost $400 for one night and there was garbage in the stairwell, we were told a rollaway bed would be waiting for us in our room which is wasn't, and the worst part of all, we left my daughter's yoto player in the room and when I called about it I was told someone would get back to me. When I didn't receive a call I called again and I was asked to email a picture of the player. I did this and received no response. When I called a third time I was told it hadn't been found-the player was sitting in an obvious spot beside the tv so I believe that it was found and the hotel is not returning it to us. Overall I would highly recommend that if you are looking to stay in Kamloops that you choose a different hotel!
