The Plaza Hotel Downtown, Trademark Collection by Wyndham Reviews

Not what we were expecting. The hotel does have parking so you must go to reception before you pay for parking. Our mistake. However it was quite rough, old, and Kamloops is quite a worrying place in terms of safely. I don’t really want to say that but I can’t thing of another way to say the hotel is typical of the area, rough and poverty comes to mind.

Great location

Hotel is really old and it smells old There was a peculiar smell in the rooms maybe from the carpet. Though located in downtown the hotel itself doesn't offer much. Won't recommend staying here.

For the price it’s fine. So far it’s only surrounding area with many homeless. Staffs are nice and towels are clean .

The location was great and the stay was good as well. The only concern was the that the odor in the hotel didn't make us feel refreshing

The Plaza was such a lovely surprise. We were immediately impressed by the fireplace at the entry and the professional welcoming staff. The entire hotel has been lovingly restored. The room was absolutely spotless. The hot buffet breakfast was fabulous in a beautifully furnished restaurant. But the icing on the cake was the staff, who guided us through the history of this magnificent historical building. A highlight of our road trip.

Old hotel, old but not broken, with breakfast, bar, pool table, golf driving range, manicure, darts, and many other facilities on the first floor. The service is very good, but it's a pity that there is no change.

The air conditioning was not working well and the room was hot, and I couldn't sleep well because of the sound of running water. It's an old hotel so the facilities are probably old. The location is very good, so it might be fine for a one night stay.

It's in downtown, and Save on Food is nearby, so it's quite convenient. But the facilities are old and the corridors are narrow.

It's a bit scary at night, but the town is very cozy during the day

The location is convenient and it is a landmark building in downtown. The surrounding restaurants, bars and convenience stores are very convenient. The hotel has the oldest elevator in Ganlu City, which is almost a hundred years old. It is slow and has a small space. It can accommodate two people and two boxes at most. The room is old and small, but clean. One night's rest along the way in the Rocky Mountains is enough. Reminder, the parking lot outside the hotel has different colored lines. If you park wrong, you will be fined 70 yuan.

The actual room is quite different from the picture.
