Not what one expects when checking into a Marriott branded hotel. I am a travel advisor and somewhat picky, however, we were with a group and everyone agreed we had the same opinion about this hotel. Hotel is tired and worn, bed linens were awful, musty smell when we entered the room, towels paper thin, bathtub with grout issues and the list goes on. Maybe there are not many other hotel options in Kalamazoo, but I would not recommend this hotel.

Clean and comfortable. Super friendly staff. Love the pool and hot tub! The food at the lobby bar was delicious and, again, super friendly staff. We stayed here after moving our freshman into Kalamazoo College. When we come to visit, we will stay again. This place is a hidden gem!!

Very nice hotel in a very nice location. No free breakfast. You have to pay 16 dollars for breakfast but it's better then a normal hotel hot breakfast. Pretty much same stuff tho. Nice rooms, the pool and hot tub area is noce with a nice big patio area outside. Bed was comfy room was nice.

We chose Delta because of its proximity to WMU. PROs: It is a former Holidome and retains much of that feel. It is a short 5-minute drive to campus. CONs: While some staff were pleasant and helpful, some were indifferent, making excuses instead of proving solutions. While public areas were relatively well maintained, areas like the pool needed attention as there was the same debris (hair and mulch) on the floor. Wifi never worked. After the third time complaining, we were offered 20% off the room (but they only took off the 20% on one of the nights) but never actually got wifi. Our "upgraded" room was a room with a view of a brick wall (on the 3rd floor). Apparently the air conditioning wasn't working or the rooms hadn't been cleaned...in any event, there were few solutions and many excuses.

I don’t know what they remodeled but it wasn’t the room Not what I expected when I read recently remodeled. The $100 incidental added was more than I was used to but the “it will be credited back in 2-7 days” was a bit much. Wouldn’t stay there again and not what I would expect from a marriot property. Disappointing as I made more and drove further to stay there.

I stayed here with a work colleague for a business trip in the area. The reception staff were a highlight, super welcoming and friendly especially Joann. The bed was super comfy for weary jet lagged bones and the pool and gym a welcome addition. Down side was that dinner and breakfast service was slow. However, the kindness of staff and being so accommodating to give us a late check out until 3pm means 5 star review

This is very minor but the signage to direct you to the hotel is very small. Needs to be a little bigger
