Paradise Bay Resort

Good.

We spent 9 unforgettable days at Paradise Bay for daughter’s wedding, and it was truly the perfect choice! From the moment we arrived, the staff and management made us feel welcome with warm smiles and constant kindness. They even went above and beyond to help us print the wedding speech my husband (the officiant) was going to give - something we’ll never forget! The rooms are a bit dated, but they were clean and anytime we needed something (extra linens, trash bags) it was provided quickly and without hesitation. The peaceful live music in the evenings, the delicious banana bread every morning, and the stunning views of the bay made us feel like we were in the heart of Hawaii, NOT Waikiki. The amenities like kayaking and the pool were also awesome! One of my favorite memories is kayaking on the bay with our boys in the morning - something they’ll remember forever. We’re so glad we didn’t listen to the negative reviews. This resort may not be flashy, but it is full of heart. Our time there was priceless. Mahalo to the entire Paradise Bay team! We just returned from a restorative stay at this beautiful resort feeling very grateful to the hospitable & friendly staff who helped make our stay unforgettable. Pua at the front desk was so kind and knowledgeable about the resort ammenities and local area. She went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience and helped arrange for us to enjoy an incredible kayak trip out in the bay. We loved the morning yoga & delicious banana bread to start off our days here! Pua was also very gracious in helping with our luggage at the end of our stay so that we could make the most of our day exploring the area after we checked out in the morning before our flight departed later in the day. We hope to be able to come back & can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Pua & the rest of the amazing team at Paradise Bay!

The rooms are a little tired, but the view off our lanai couldn't be beat! Fantastic location, together with friendly staff, and delicious banana bread in the mornings, make this a great option for those seeking a vacation on the windward side.

My husband and I recently stayed at Paradise Bay. Over all it was a nice stay and we would do it again because of the great location of this property however it does have some shortcomings. The hotel rooms don't necessarily look like the pictures on line, they are showing their age. Also, remember you are in a tropical setting, so expect to see a roach or two or three. (The staff sprayed when we brought this to their attention.) Having said that, the location and staff are great. It's worth the shortcomings I outlined above.
