Kagoshima Plaza Hotel Tenmonkan Reviews

Very strategic location in the middle of Tenmonkan, and in walking distance to Kagoshima chuo station. The hotel provided great service with diverse and personalized amenities - bath salt, toiletries, etc. Every day at 8 -8.30 pm, the hotel provides simple rice with curry for all guests.

24 hrs frontline reception, staff are nice and helpful. Plenty of parking space as there are nearby carpark. 1000yen per day. Have different shampoo and conditioner to choose with at lobby.

The room is very clean and cozy, the staff members are all very nice, recommend!

It was a comfortable stay. The water service was great!

The location is quite convenient, near the center of Tenmonkan-dori, with many restaurants to choose from, but the rooms are old and small. The front desk staff did not take the initiative to say hello. In addition, we do not speak Japanese. We wanted to ask the staff to help us call a restaurant to make a reservation, but they directly refused the guest's request. Staff from other hotels we have stayed at would be happy to help. Would not recommend this as a first choice hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located. It takes about 8 minutes to walk to the airport bus station. There are many restaurant options nearby. I especially like that the hotel lobby provides many different types of shampoo for guests to choose from. There are also various pillows in the elevator lobby on each floor. The choice is very considerate. The room is small, but the price is cheap and the price/performance ratio is OK. 

The location was good, the front desk staff was friendly and it was a nice stay.
