Love this hotel's cleanliness and location near the pyramids and GEM. It's a 70min ride from the airport and easy to book Uber to go places. The hotel also offers tour service and Egyptian style breakfast (from 8.30am). Very kind and helpful staff!

I had a very comfortable stay here. It’s a small, modern-looking guesthouse with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The aesthetic design and friendly staff made me feel right at home. My room looked exactly like the photos, clean, stylish, and equipped with all the essentials. Its location, away from the busy main streets, offered a peaceful and quiet environment that was perfect for a good night’s sleep. And I have to mention, the bed was incredibly comfortable!

Newly renovated hotel that's owned by a very friendly local who speaks excellent mandarin!
Breakfast is served every morning directly to your room; though I wish the menu would rotate as I had the exact same thing for 3 days ;)
Location wise, it's just a 20 minute walk to the Marriott Mena Giza necropolis entrance and a 30 minute walk to the new Grand Egyptian Museum.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was amazing—beautifully served, and you could really see the dedication put into it. The entire hotel was spotless, and when I turned on the shower, I could smell the bleach, which reassured me of the high level of cleanliness. It’s also a very quiet place, perfect for a relaxing stay. One of the best parts is the convenience of having a mini fridge in the room and a Carrefour right next door. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Cairo!

I had an amazing time at Makai Guest House which is very modernly designed. Each room has a special ancient Egyptian name.The staff was always very welcoming, friendly and caring. They helped me with any query day and night. The breakfast was great and was accommodated to my dietary needs. If I come to Cairo again, I’d definitely come back here. Thanks for making my stay pleasurable!!
