The house had plenty of room for our group. We appreciated all of the board games and ability to spend quality family time together. It was a bit of a hike to get to the river, but absolutely beautiful when you got there.

Open concept was very nice! Lots of extra sleeping options. Beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing and the hike to the River was a bit steep, however we all enjoyed the exercise! The only disappointment was the air quality in the house! The vents needed some attention and it had a Smokey smell to the main living area.Overall a nice VRBO!

We and our friends have traveled to many vacation rentals over the last 10 years and we all agreed that this rental in particular ranked among the top sites. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the common area and how comfortable everything was. Our host was prompt with her replies, which we greatly appreciated.

Host is super responsive, checkin/out was a breeze. We are a group of adventure (biking, hiking, rafting, etc) gals who pick a destination for 4 days/3 nights once a year. I look for a CLEAN, affordable, centrally located VRBO that has multiple bathrooms & bedrooms, a/c, outdoor amenities and a large, well lit common area. This property was PERFECT for us in every regard! It is well appointed with everything we needed. The trail down to the river is steep - we only did it once but nearby HOA beach is great for a lazy river soak. We didn’t feel like we could physically get the kayaks back up the steep bank from the river at the house, so we weren’t able to take advantage of that perk. This house is kid friendly with toys, books etc and a separate area for them to play so the adults can have some peace (we were childless but used the space for the bedroom/bath). We enjoyed coffee and dining al fresco on the fab deck the whole time. We were very happy here. Thanks, Songyee!

Would absolutely recommend this house! It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay including plenty of extra blankets and pillows, all the kitchen supplies, plus books and toys galore to keep the kids entertained while inside! The path to the river from the house could be difficult for some but we enjoyed the kayaks and fishing. We spent an entire day at the private river access which was such an added bonus! We had trouble with a code and the owners got back to us every quickly.

The house was beautifully located. The view from the firepit and deck area was unmatched. The climb down to the river was steep, but we were warned about that in advance and I absolutely recommend the walk down. The portion of the river where the house is located is super flat and smooth, so it was nice for floating around, throwing balls around, and kayaking. The house was super clean and well stocked too. My only issue is that I think it is misrepresented on the website. the "brick room" is not really a bedroom at all - it's a hallway before another bedroom with a tiny bed in it. And the 5th bedroom is just the living room with a pull out couch. So it's really a 3 bedroom house with a few options for people who don't mind crashing on couches. We were all a bunch of dudes on a guy's weekend so we didn't mind, but feel that others should know it's not as roomy as it seems. But overall, it was a great experience and we would stay there again on another guy's weekend or with a small family for sure!

First & foremost, the owner of this home was wonderful. They accomodated us when we needed to make a change & we are very grateful. The home had beautiful views, but unfortauntely the steep walk down to the river was very dangerous & not worth the risk. The home was very clean & cozy. The beds were comfortable as well as the entire atmosphere. Unfortunately, there were not enough towels for our 6 guests & showers should be spaced out per guest due to minimal hot water. The grill worried us when we tried to turn it on. We decided to cook indoors instead, but this could have been a user error on our part, still we didn't want to risk it.I highly recommend staying in this home over a hotel to get the full WV experience. We had a great time.

Beautiful home in a quiet area. There were lots of things to do within a short drive. We checked out cute local shops. There were also many stands selling local produce. It was a fun but relaxing trip.
